Feeling a little left out of the fun because I’ve been playing in terror zones all day in the new Diablo 2 expansion and I have seen maybe one herald if any at all. I don’t think they actually exist in my game at this point.

Are you full clearing the whole zone? Only time I didnt encounter one when I teleport pass a few areas.
I haven’t terrorized a whole act yet because no shards dropped, but yeah I’ve been full clearing whole zones as they pop up. I even went through a couple huge ones in act 3 and cows and still nothing. Not slowly either, I have endgame gear on Nova, Java and hammerdin. Am I supposed to stay in the game and wait for the next TZ?

I’m just speculating on my end. As time pass, let see what others are experiencing to demand if they are rng.
I was talking only clearing that TZ. Not using the new items to have TZ for the whole act.
As per llama. The Harold spawn if you stay in the game longer.
If you get the first message. Stay in the game and look for him. So the reason TZ time is 30 mins. So you have another chance to find him if you miss on the first time. If you killed him once. Continue in game and try to hunt him again. Harold will get stronger and can be chained up to 5 times.
Thanks for the info. This seems like a huge time suck tho. Waiting 30 min for a new TZ when it only takes me 5-10 min to clear is a bummer.

Going from 1 hour to 30 minutes is a big change. I say the Devs included the causal players with less wealth into the math. If you’re fully geared yes it doesn’t take long to full clear. Include those non meta builds and it’s about good amount.
