Need bad Ammazon Torch for Pul?

Ah, that makes sense. Ivy vein guides were written by llama right? I think his video explains it better, the website unfortunately does not explain the options around skill points

Once maxed CS and LF, all other lightning skills only boost CS and doesn’t really matter for LF (piercing does), so unless you find boss killing slow, I wouldn’t put any points to other lightning skills

Personally I prefer skipping lightning immunes (safely), not killing them (which is just too slow). If you want to kill lightning immune, obedience is great for A2 to deal massive physical dmg, and reasonably cheap; never tried A5 and am not sure about the damage with budge gear. Zon herself may jab or poison

Maxed Valk in my experience is tankier than any merc around your char level, and much easier to position. As long as I made sure mobs all target Valk, I can take my time pick up and id everything on the ground and 5 minutes later (i.e. very slow) whatever immune mobs are dead. May need to recast if mobs are also physical immune, to spawn Valk with some change to cast other element dmg

Interesting! Do you have a build you’d suggest? I’m honestly thinking a barb merc with fire/ice damage swords would be pretty nasty for taking out immunes. With the exception of Vies there aren’t very many triple immunes.

I first max CS and LF, 1 point in pierce. Titan + razortail, already close to 100% piercing I recall, with +skills from other gear (lore, lidless, etc). Oh, need a Ravenfrost, or spirit shroud, anything with cannot be frozen. I got Raven and vipermagi. Insight merc, whatever life leech armor and helm I had at that time; later upgraded to Obedience

You can easily shop a +3skl blue jav, if your current one is not good enough. Titan is of course the best, and more so on the increased stack and replenish, that you don’t need to go back town 3 times in the middle for a cow run

Then I maxed Valk to safely run past immunes. Also note you get the other pet on the way to Valk, what’s it called, the one that looks like zon but never moves or attacks. 1 point was enough for me. There I had two tanks, freely reposition, and rarely worry mobs hitting zon (merc did die from time to time, as I could not reposition him)

I didn’t max any other skills until I tried to kill DClone; maxing just LS was enough for dclone for me, need a full belt of full rejuv though  oh and there tstroke works better than titan for -res

Oh, and I didn’t enter hell until 75 or something

Everyone keeps telling me how “Easy” Titans is. I have started maybe 20 ladder rooms of WTB Titans. I get people coming in occasionally, but they keep asking for 40PGs or 1 Pul 1 lum, or 1 Ist.

My top runes right now are three Hels. My Countess Counter is in the hundreds on NM, and I’m not seeing anything above Hel. Cows sometimes drop a Thul, but that’s it. I will burn one of my re-specs to go Valk and see if that makes a difference. I really need to get into Hell to even have a chance at this.

As far as I know, it’s basically impossible to get Titans unless you are in Hell Difficulty. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

NM meph is the easiest to get titan IIRC. It’s not the most friendly for Javazon to farm, but probably doable as I recall NM council members aren’t lightning immune. From the WP always turn left first, which has higher chance to get to the entrance to meph

Titan to me benefits mostly from not going back to town to repair, thus faster to farm. Damage wise, not day and night difference from a +3 jav. Also you may shop for a +3 gloves which would help damage

Not sure about ladder pricing. In NL Ist is pretty expensive for titan, probably can fetch a near perfect one. Pul might be right for a random one, and often people just give them for free. Instead of creating your own room, maybe browse available rooms, something like “items for pgems” and ask if they get a Titan, or “free for new player” and sometimes the host wants to give it to the right player, if you come in with a high level Javazon without a Titan, they may give you one

If you have socket quest unused, people buy instant socket for Ist. Though that require you to camp on forums to find the buyer

Checked, titan is in tc36 so yes, NM meph is the best place to farm. See this table, and you need the monster to be above lv50 to drop titan, and then the lower the level the higher the chance, because higher level items won’t drop and compete for rng

(Of course this is just for titan itself. Usually if a better item drops we should still count, as you can trade)

Not sure if you need. I have cheap Anni 10/10/8 that can trade for you pul if you want one.
