-Uninstall d2r
-Install PTR, create a char, load in, exit
-Install d2r (it loads data from the PTR and only downloads ~500mb)
-Play.

I can see other players weapon models on the Lobby but mine is completely invisible. Both in game and in the character screen.
The animation is playing but the weapon itself is invisible.
EDIT: Apparently only SOME weapons are invisible. I’ve notice Daggers, Clubs and Bows, so far.
Also, I was mistaken about them being visible in the Lobby. I noticed some characters missing them as well. Probably the the ones using the weapons mentioned above (and any other that I haven’t tried yet).
EDIT 2: It’s summon weapon, the Goatman’s axe/bardiche, will sometimes disappear as well. Resummoning fixes it for some time.
