Mirrored Blades does not repeat cast when holding the button on Xbox

Platform

Xbox Series (likely all console versions)

Issue

Mirrored Blades does not behave the same on console as it does on PC.

On PC, Mirrored Blades will continuously attack as long as the bound key is held down. This is the intended behavior and is required for the skill to function as a sustained melee/ranged hybrid attack.

On Xbox, Mirrored Blades only triggers one single attack per button press. To attack again, the player must release the button and press it again. This turns the skill into a slow, clunky, single‑tap action instead of a continuous attack.

Impact

  • The skill becomes effectively unusable for long‑term combat.

  • It destroys the flow and pacing of the Warlock kit.

  • It creates a major performance gap between PC and console players.

  • It forces console players to spam the button instead of holding it, which is not intended and is physically uncomfortable over time.

Expected Behavior

Holding the attack button should cause Mirrored Blades to continuously attack, identical to how it functions on PC.

Actual Behavior

Mirrored Blades only attacks once per button press and does not repeat while the button is held.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Bind Mirrored Blades to any face button or trigger on Xbox.

  2. Hold the button down.

  3. Observe that only one attack occurs.

  4. Press and release repeatedly to trigger additional attacks.
