Make Tyrael's Might Great Again

This would be an absolutely amazing armor.

As well rounded as this it, I don’t think anyone would use it.

Slain monsters rip is bad for hork barbs and summon necros.

It doesn’t have enough enhanced damage for melee or bowazons.

+3 to skills is nice for casters, but the extra +1 over Enigma just isn’t enough to offset teleport.

Redemption aura isn’t needed for melee, they heal so much from lifesteal.

Honestly, this would still be a Charsi item.

I dunno about it being Charsi food, but rather use it on a Merc instead of your character. More times then not, you’re able to kill enemies quicker then your merc, thus leaving corpses for necro’s and horking barbs.

If Slain Monsters Rest In Peace is a problem for multiple builds/characters and would prevent it from being used, why not simply remove it? Nothing should be off the table that prevents TM from being a great item.

If the stats on the armor were to be changed, it should stay as a worthy PVM armor. Keep the stats off of it that would make it too useful for PVP. Should be an armor that HC players especially could love. Tyrael was about slaying demons not players.

As a sorc, I’d use this over Enigma any day. But, oh, the power creep in this thread…

…so 107 f/c/l resist on worst roll and 134 on max roll, doesn’t seem op at all.

im down for this - just make it retroactive (i have one sitting in my stash lol). stupid that the rarest and most iconic item is useless.

Why not ? (As long as it stays really really rare ) never dropped one in my life and right now if tyrael might stay the way it is i would pick it up just to put it in my stash … which is really sad.

Dev already said they would not touch unique atm, at least not 2.4

add: The hero is immune to the damage taken from the first five attacks of act bosses

Special perk: When Tyrael’s Might is equipped by any hero in the account, the game rejoin timer is reduced to 0

Lol! This would make it the most valuable item in the game by far.

I agree! That was only one item on the list of reasons it wouldn’t see any use.

If it’s going to be a potential BiS for casters or melee, it needs to have teleport at a minimum, and adjust from there.

You’re talking about Tyrael’s might, not Templar’s Might, I’m assuming.

What stats on my version of TM are specifically good in PVP rather than PVM? Or are you talking about my version of Templar’s Might?

The problem with specifically making something good for only PVM, is PVM actually has more options anyway. I generally agree with splitting the items into two pools, but with something like the absolute rarest items in the game, I think it should be a strong competitor for both PVM and PVP.

I don’t understand how Templar’s Might came into this subject? You said that Tyrael’s armor should have +1 to teleport. That is mainly for PVP among the other stats. I was stating that the rare armor should not be aimed towards PVP. You don’t NEED teleport in PVM. Survivability stats should be the main focus on the armor at least in my opinion.

Wait what ? Teleport is really good in PVM to … Even the best skill if you are farming boss…

This is all just opinion based. I was merely saying what I would prefer on Tyrael’s armor, that’s all! And no, teleport is not essential for PVM. Monsters do not teleport around and move at 10000% run speed. You don’t need it. You’re better off upping pure damage if you want to simply kill the single boss faster.

In an follow up live stream interview they have clearly state that unique item is not on their lost of change for 2.4

Everyone believes Tyraels Might, the rarest unique in game, should be more powerful.
