Edit: Also when creating a new online character and clicking “Play”, an unending black screen is shown (no loading screen), though the background music does change. This requires the game to be forcibly closed.

I would like to play the game i paied for. Instead i get silenced for adressing it in my Regionforum. 17h+ now and still no fix just copy pasta telling us to wait 24h cuz maybe it will be fixed from ur script… 24h… really?

Additional info: This happened too on release day and 3 days after, until sunday 26 Setp
Now happening again.
Actions already done:

  • Analyze / repair
  • Re-Install
  • Update all drivers-
  • Disable antivirus ( avast)
    -Try another Lan IP

There is nothing u can do. Its Blizzards fault - not ours. But make sure you dont ask to often for help in here, cuz you get silenced asap.

It is in all honesty, a complete joke, that this has been happening since launch and the cause of the issue is still not resolved.

If this was akin to a service being provided to a business that has paid for it and under contract. Issues like this would of been resolved within days if not hours.

Bring back the battle.net of 20 years ago? Couldn’t be much worse. /S

Hey everybody,

Now that the servers are back online, any characters that got stuck today should free up within about an hour. If they get stuck for longer than 24 hours please post here so we can look into why this happened.

We’re still escalating the ones that are coming into this thread, but don’t have any other updates to share just yet.

The information we need to report this is going to be:

  1. Time that your characters got stuck in game
  2. What time zone you’re in
  3. Platform (PC, PS5, XBox One, Switch, etc)
