if a game has the option for hardcore, its the only option in my book. exception for d3 for some reason i didnt like that one on HC.

I’ve used WinMTR and when the signal gets to Blizzard servers it drops out with real bad latency.
It wil be fine for 10 - 20 minutes then it drops out again at Blizzard.
My ISP is fine.
I was a network specialist in my last job for a large company.
I know what a signal goes thru back and forth with packets from home to game server and back.
I can’t even create a game now, and people in chat saying the same. The bot infestation is out of control. The servers slow down to a crawl whenever there is a good TZ. Every botter and their mom’s bots DDoS the servers.
Imagine still trying to fix rubberbanding, disconnects, and game creation after 23 years. Blizzard… wanna like try?

im in the same boat - work 60hrs a week, plus family - today i just wanted to relax, play and have some bourbon – i guess i got 2 out of 3.
Only question is do we have to scour every social networking site out there to maybe get one sentence related to issues, or will it be the usual crickets. They’ve already hit their 1 post per month limit to their users for February.
Thought it was just me. Managed to get games going today, but then advised they were shutting down for maintenance.
Might have done that prior to starting the new ladder?

D2 HC players are so tedious. HC is not skill, it’s patience. Get over yourself.
Add Classic and you’ll see it’s every mode except offline.

Blizzard has a giant disconnect between the actual game makers and playing the game from home.
It’s a big circle route the packets take initiated from home to game server and back, over and over.
blizz really needs to get their act together with this stuff, you would think with so many people complaining about these latency issues of varying capacities that the issue would be addressed… sadly thats not the case it seems tho i bet ya 2 to 1 that if this werent a blizzard product and was being maintained by a different company the issue would have been addressed far sooner

If the issue is indeed botting/duping/hacking, I really wish they had a separate server for consoles. The game is unplayable atm. Guaranteed disconnect within 30 seconds of joining/creating a game, assuming you even get that far.
I have 63 fcr bp on sorc trying to tele trough Durance. Its pretty challenge. Sometimes need 2-3 teles to one spot. I was thinking the breakpoint is pretty low.
But if i switch from PC to Xbox, there is zero problems and game is smooth.
The problem is, the xbox lobbies are almost empty on all difficulties…
what a joke. purchase blizz game and i cant even play it. constant lag and fail to make games. all 100% completely blizzards fault.
