Cool Got my first solo Dclone and was a cakewalk. If anyone needs help I can jump in. Im no veteran but I can help and i jus got a 19 18 7 so im very content.

I got a roll-back. Anyone else? After like ten minutes I got game interrupted and game was lost 
started a new game and all my potions etc were back in place like the game and fight had never happened…
You just reminded me to save and exit. Good call.

NA server is fairly stable these days. Any chance you’re using a VPN? I’ve heard that can generate problems
No I am not but I am living a wee way from NA. I agree, NA is stable for me usually. It happened to me on Asia the other night too but I regularly get dropped from that server. It’s never happened to me on NA NL so I am wondering if the traffic is too high for ladder and me being a long way away causes a drop?

The most common explanation I’ve been told is that there’s a time stamp discrepancy and so the system errs on the side of caution but I have no inside information if that’s really true. I wouldn’t know how it decides to drop and/or roll back.

I agree, sucks, maybe make a game anyway, 1/3 chance. I think in the past that streamer usually does Asia. Note, this is a guess but 1/3 chance better than 0/3 chance.

So the NL one… is this in ~6hrs time or ~30hrs time?
Since most of these sojs are botted/exploited for, shouldn’t advertising these walks (and concurrently advertising the streamers that pay for the exploited sojs) on the official Blizz forums be disallowed? Not hating on getting people more Annihilus charms in general, but the entire event just makes more of a market for exploitation. I doubt there has been a single totally legit walk since the game came out, even after they changed it up (before, people were abusing the game creation system by using VPNs to end up on obscure servers).
I guess it makes sense in one way… more exploiters = more bans = more people purchasing the game again after getting banned. It’s kind of funny, though, that advertisements for those streamers are technically funding botting on D2R.

It’s impossible to know the origin of items. By that logic, if you traded for your items, how do you know it didn’t come from a bot at some point? Better throw them all away to be safe, by that logic. There’s a reason why “innocent until proven guilty” is a wise doctrine because you end up with a lot of false positives if you try to catch every single bad person out there. And if you make the standard stringent enough, every one of us is bad.

It’s an Asia streamer at an Asia time though so that would be my guess. But it’s still a guess
