Ladder is not 'Competitive'

Buying end-game runes and gear for chump change yields a massive in game advantage over legitimate players.
Playing in a game with more characters(not necessarily more ‘players’) yields more experience and loot.

It is laughable to refer to this Ladder as ‘Competitive’.

The ‘modern’ chat system lacks basic features from decades ago, but does maintain the new feature of creating an uncloseable channel which serves no other purpose than to deliver RMT spam to every online user. When a ‘block list’ becomes ‘full’ it is inadequate defense against a never ending legion of spam bot accounts. This constant stream of identical spam 24/7 indicates that inadequate actions are being taken to preserve the integrity of this game.

Every RMT organization, P2W multiboxer, twitch streamer, and discord group is simulating the /players command on battle net through obvious but wretched work arounds. Your stated design philosophy is that features should not be gated when players want them and work arounds exist. Stop being hypocrites.

This forum is overflowing with dummy accounts owned by a handful of trolls associated with RMT or otherwise invested in the abusive P2W aspects of D2R. They are abusing an automated system of forum ‘moderation’ by leveraging their multiple accounts to mass-flag any post highlighting their criminal behavior. They fill any honest user’s thread with flaming, trolling, and spam if it mentions the missing TCP/IP and/or /players features. You are allowing them to vandalize the public face of your company and harass your customers with impunity.

Suggestion: Fix Chat
Suggestion: Ban the accounts that are spamming RMT URLs 24/7 online.
Suggestion: Ban the accounts holding the inventory of the RMT URLs being spammed 24/7 online.
Suggestion: Stop accepting payment from the source of the above accounts.
Suggestion: Implement a client-side block list that doesn’t become full.
Suggestion: Fulfill your original promise and release the TCP/IP features which you have gutted.
Suggestion: Remove the benefits of owning and idling multiple accounts in ‘competitive ladder’ games.
Suggestion: Implement a /players command on bnet
Suggestion: Don’t allow single users to post under multiple aliases.
Suggestion: Don’t allow single users to flag posts multiple times with their multiple aliases.
Suggestion: Don’t relegate all forum moderation to a bot which merely deletes flagged posts.
Suggestion: Remove the ‘competitive’ moniker from your Ladder until it isn’t so easily confused with a joke.

wasn’t that your whole reasoning for wanting p8 online? so the playing field would be even, because some things are unfair in life? wasn’t that your take last week?

remember when i talked about being crazy and having a forum agenda ? when did yours switch ? LOL.

Still can’t read, I see. More de-railing, spam, flaming, and trolling from a user who openly admits to being a multi-account abuser.

Only 5? You must be experiencing some hard times. No wonder you seem so miserable in all your toxic s-posts.

They can barely follow their own ramblings. He forgot what he wrote between bans. :))
This is the sign the /p8 gang is getting desperate and running out of ideas!
All they can do is make unsubstantiated claims and use a vitriolic approach, and than accuse others for the same attitude. Just laughbable!

Now the cycle continues. Here is the post where I will quote a stream of vitriolic trolling and otherwise content-free spam posts which add nothing to this or any other conversation on this platform which purports to be a ‘forum’. If you follow these authors you’ll note that they never contribute anything beyond flaming others.

And what is your contribution, proven troll? You even copy my statements! :))
Tell us, how you contribute to the conversation. You are just trying to push your agenda and beg for handouts. That’s all…and all the members of the forums know it.
You just need to grind dude if you really wish those Bis items…grind and grind.
Just stop asking for freebies just because you can’t adapt to the gameplay.

Yay, more forum drama generated by Turlok.

Tracking → Muted. Goodbye.

its only competitive if youre an organized team or a streamer with slaves

otherwise it’s whatever … interestingly enough seeing full pages of 99s for most classes will still deter most casual players from being invested in the season.

as soon as theres too many 99s for all classes it feels like it’s over lol

Just report him and move away. Don’t feed the troll like I did!
By the way…same rhetoric as toddy boy.

Correct. Maybe they should have included that clause in their advertisements.

It’s over if you wanted to really participate in the ladder for sure. Many console themselves with collecting ladder only things while operating as a unit with a target on their heads for RMT losers to spam into oblivion.

you can organize a team without streaming. we used to get decently serious for LoD ladder resets. my friends and i would be one of the top teams generally.

sure things have changed now with streaming being super popular and people simping so hard they don’t realize they are just tools.

Most people would not count the extra copies of D2R that you purchased as ‘friends’ and you should probably stop referring to them as ‘we’.

RNG in games makes it non competitive. Balanced PvP games are competitive but can’t really think of one.

Professional sports are pretty competitive since the playing field is even and rules are the same for each team for the most part.

You make a good point, but I would still consider it to be competitive if all players were subject to the same RNG rates and exp rewards. Due to multi-boxing and other workarounds for /players command, that is not the case here.

They are… Multi boxing is exactly the same as playing with other people. You get the same bonuses with your own x amount of accounts or x amount of other players.

Here we go again…
You just don’t get it. The people that make the game make a salary and that salary is taxed. They make bots and sell items over the web and make more then their salary tax free. Why would they change anything? We know it’s very easy to see the chat bots, so why don’t they get banned? People capable of critical thinking can conclude it’s because it benefits them. DUH.
Only way to stop bots and selling f items is to make them drop in abundance and put them out of business. No need for bots or purchases. They will NEVER do that. Because… MONEY

This post is laughable. Get some friends, learn how to play better or go play a game that you truly enjoy. Problem solved.

Above your head, or you didn’t bother to read it. Both, probably.

Nice first post, multi.

These guys earn a living or have their psychological health wrapped up in how many millions of FG they can hoard up.

They only benefit from spam tearing guys like you down. They will spam endlessly because it suits their RMT businesses

Doesnt mean we quit fighting. There are many ways to fight, we can be more creative than spamming forums though. Plenty of good options to stop these abusers
