JSP - Here to Stay

Lol…

You are the only clown here. Plenty of anti JSP arguments have merit. You just want to stick your fingers in yoir eara and go “lalalalalala”

At some point the JSP clowns will realize most of the community will always see them as cheaters, accept it, and move on.

It’s been ongoing ever since the first d2 bots, and a cancer on d2 for 15+ years. Maybe in 50 years they hope to convince someone that its legit to bring over your previous stash of monopoly cash to a brand new game.

Literally every single argument in this thread has been countered with a logical, sensical response. And not one single logical counter-response has been made.

For example, your recent comment about ruining ladder resets. JSP has very little to do with this. How? First off, items on JSP at reset are absurdly expensive. Like, out of this world. Almost no one wastes their FG doing so.

Second, RMT through sites like G2G and PA are the biggest culprits of this spirit destruction of ladder reset you seem to hold so dear. Companies in the Philippines have dozens/hundreds of employees farming games 24/7, and when a new ladder/league/expansion etc. comes out, it’s all they do. They’re the reason HRs are farmed so quickly and mass runewords are made, and it’s because of the ‘legit’ people you think you’re trading with outside of JSP that bought these elsewhere that a ladder doesn’t feel so fresh for very long.

A few homies playing the game together 8 hours a day, even if they did FG dump to get gear, can’t compete with companies paying people to keep dozens of MF characters farming 24/7. You’re delusional if you think so. And if you honestly don’t think this is going on, you’re even more delusional. You can look at seller profiles on these sites and they even advertise and show pictures of their operation to improve buyer comfort and increase sales. You’re just choosing to ignore it to fit your narrative if nothing else.

Just because you said “noone will spend FG on ladder reset” doesnt mean its true. You sell items on JSP for FG which CAN be payed for with real money. You use that FG to buy anything you want and it carries over from reset to reset.

Dont hide behind other RMT sites when JSP is just as bad.

I don’t think logical and sensical means what you think it means.

“Everyone does it” “almost no one does it” great argumentative my man.

Thats your way of arguing?

You do realise just saying “no youre wrong im right” doesnt count as a counter argument right?

Mic drop cringe

A sampling:

Jsparrot: Jsp doesn’t violate the ToS because the trade happens in the game.
Retort: Logically, Jsp is a 3rd party. It is not in the game. Forum gold is not in the game. You exchange an item in the game for forum gold outside the game, and vice verse. Gathering items for sale outside the Game is expressly a violation of the ToS.
Jsparrot: Deflect to different argument.

(This argument is self defeating)

Jsparrot: Jsp doesn’t violate the ToS because there’s no “sale”.
Also Jsparrot: Today I sold a Shako and bought a necro outfit.

(This argument is also self defeating)

Jsparrot: Jsp doesn’t violate the ToS because a “sale” requires monetary value.
Retort: Forum Gold is literally sold for money, thus having monetary value.
Jsparrot: Yeah, well, it’s not bought and sold for money by literally everybody (acknowledging that is is bought and sold for money by some).
Also Jsparrot: Every item in D2 can be bought and sold for real money. (Thus double establishing monetary value)

(This argument is also self defeating… there is a pattern here)

Plenty of valid points have been brought up as to the fact that people utilizing JSP aren’t cheating, aren’t conducting RMT (as long as they are not spending money), that the majority of players wont spend outrageous prices at the start of a ladder because they arent sitting on vast hoards of FG (contrary to popular opinion).

I have seen claims its against ToS but it isn’t. The trades happen in game, the outside force is a trading website. No different than using discord.

I have seen claims that those with Stars = people who pay for FG. Well that was debunked. You dont need to spend money to get a Star. You can pay for one with FG.

I have seen claims that only the uber wealthy on JSP are wealthy as a result of botting. Well, that’s just wrong. I am sure some of them are because of that, but it’s not overly hard to accumulate FG.

I have yet to see a logical argument that doesn’t consist of belittling someone. That’s all the other side of this arguement does. “Clowns, Parrots, etc, etc.”.

This is distinctly different than using discord because with jsp forum gold half the transaction occurs outside the game on the 3rd party platform with the 3rd party currency.

I actually looked into this one and it’s hysterical. You don’t pay forum gold directly for stars (flair). You pay someone forum gold to then pay d2jsp real money to get you flair. The scheme is, frankly, completely transparent.

And then to complete the absurdity, the suggestion is that a significant portion of the userbase actually coughs up forum gold to another user to willingly pay real money for that flair (and, in absolute fact, the end result of every single occurrence of this forum gold for money for flair transaction, someone is literally paying money for forum gold. Every time).

And of course, who would pay forum gold for useless flair when you could buy an item. And when that flair serves no other purpose than to identity you as a paying customer?

There it is.

This is called straw men. You made up the oppositions argument(that nobody said) just so you could knock it down.

You’re the worst.

I love how the jsp defenders always say we did not provide any valid arguments when we provided plenty.

You ignoring the arguments does not make them less valid, all I see is jsp defenders deflecting, nothing more.

But, we beat your arguments, and you just pretend we didn’t and keep repeating them. It doesn’t mean they weren’t refuted.
Go ahead and name one you think wasn’t refuted.

How did you beat them? By denying that buying FG is RMT or by saying that using FG in ladder is OK because we have no chance to compete anyway?

That’s called denial aka deflecting.

If fg for items is rmt, then so is runes for items since you can(but don’t have to) buy runes and items just like you can(but don’t have to) buy fg.

FG in ladder is probably your best argument. Best i can say is there isn’t a better currency in this game to effectively trade in the early season.
The caveat i feel that gets ignored here is; fg value is totally relative, just like in game items. So the guy with 10k doesn’t have a huge advantage to just buy whatever he wants over the 0fg new guy who’s gonna get several k trading off his early finds. It does have a way of evening itself out as more fg accumulates amongst users.

Here is another argument you competely ignored: Runes are generated INGAME aka part of the game, FG is generated OUTSIDE of the game and using real money to boot.

FG value is not relative, it has a clear price since you can “donate” to receive it, and that’s how it is generated.

Anything else? Want to deflect some more? Be my guest.

Just like you deflected the fact that he said

Like FG you can (but dont have to) buy FG
You Can buy Runes and Items (but dont have to).

You’re pulling straws desperately. It’s not deflecting. It’s challenging your line of thought.

Just like it’s always ignored that the majority of players dont spend money for their FG. They earn it by trading and providing services.

Can’t wait to see this ignored/deflected.

So what is the real difference between trading a shako for vex, vs trading a shako for some fg, then trading that fg for a vex.

FG value of ITEMS is relative, I feel like you’re purposfully deflecting on this. You know what i meant. I’m trying to have a real honest discussion with you.

He said runes are the same as FG wich is a fallacy, I answered.

He said FG value is relative, which is not, I answerted.

Where di dI deflect again? Oh right, I did not.

Never argued the fact that it is probably true, does not change anything, FG is generated by using real money and can be used early ladder and from game to game. See? Answered, not deflected.

As I said many times before you always have teh choice to be paret of the problem or the solution, I did pick my camp, you do you.

It changes literally everything. Considering your side of the camp continues to call people who don’t spend a literal penny cheaters.

Runes as a currency effectively provide the same function as FG. The difference is one is in game and BULKY, and the other is on a trading platform. I can use FG to trade for an item, or an HR, or whatever I really need.

I also dont have to sit in a game and sift through bad offers, items I dont want, etc. I can post exactly what Im looking for, and exactly what Im willing to part for to get it.
