that message they had on the launcher isnt up anymore. at least for me

they know, but did nothing to solve the underlying issue, it is the same as yesterday, restart will “fix it” for some time only again
I’d go as far as to say they did it on purpose. Why spend more on having enough servers for launch when player base will be halved in a week or two?
They do this with every launch. They estimate the numbers then shoot for what they think they will be in a few weeks instead of what they think it will be on launch.

It’s been 20 years now since I played a blizzard game that had a smooth launch on release day. If they do it often enough to expect it, I’d say it has been deliberate.
