+1 was able to play until 6 PM CEST, now all characters seem to be stuck in some imaginary game for the past 3 hours. Please unlock ASAP

joined a public server, farmed together until a rare circlet dropped a few people fancied picking up, after a few seconds it landed in my inventory, tp’d out to let cain identify it and boom now “this character is already in a game on the server”

more than 3 hours WAITING, im having this same issue +1
+1 Been almost an entire 24 hours since I was locked out of my character.
my character has been stuck in a game for 12 hours, and i cant make a game with a different toon >.< when i stop getting error pop ups, my game gets stuck on a black screen

This actually isn’t a server issue and moreso a database one. Chars stuck in them during restarts thus needing to be flushed out. They are flushing them out safely to ensure no data loss and it unfortunately just takes a little bit to get through the queue.
We will provide an update once we are through the queue of them.

7 hours later still locked out click to log on character and it tells me i am not connected to the internet.

Just reset whatever needs to be reset here. Three hours now… I cannot join or create a game. I tried to refund the game and it says I’ve played too long. Have I? I played for 1 day which was broken up by similar issues.
