Holyfire by itself is fine, the problem is runeword aura stacking like Dream and Dragon runewords.
For example having Dragon on both chest and shield on the same character should NOT equal to lvl 28 Holy Fire, only one aura (the highest) should be used.

For players 1 there’s lots of ways to 1 hit stuff.
Hmm would be interesting how much single target damage a melee sorc could deal with HoJ Dragon Dragon due double mastery 
MTE. They’re gonna get this setup nerfed to where a dragon din stays useless like before. This is an expensive setup and it’s only P1. Any decked out char can do the same, like a light sorc. The build is already crippled by so many fire immunes in hell, let’s not get it nerfed.
I made the build, and I had only +4 to all skils, the aura does 2500 dmg, bearly killing any cows -.- … are you gona cry about build that has +20 to all skills? OFC ANY ONE WITH 40+ on one skill will make it look OP! DUMBAS
The point of PTR is to test this stuff out and point out things to the developers that might need some tweaking. Your reaction is, to put it nicely, immature and lacks any helpful feedback.

You all know me, know what a stickler I am for incredibly gradual alterations.
I have a light sorc rocking really average gear, an infinity is beyond a pipe dream and even I can clear the Baal waves on P1 with little issue.
If you have to run 7HRs to quickly kill P1 cows then that’s a personal choice. One that should be allowed.
Screaming about a P1 cow killer that has to run around crying on Baal wave 5 is not something that should concern you.
That Javazon is still murdering P8 cows like its going out of style.
If this is going to make you quit then you weren’t going to last long anyway. You log in with William Dafoe throwing spears every day, you can handle this too.
With the HRs this calls for it’s not quite so easy to get in this game and it’s not exactly the same, but yes this effect is readily available in D3: equip both Azurewrath and Death’s Bargain either directly or in the Kanai’s Cube. Add other gear as desired or go naked, with a high enough regen stat those two are really all you need.
I think those auras absolutely should wipe low-end trash mobs in D2R, but for a no-effort fire skill to perform like that on Hell difficulty is out of bounds.

This build is not overpowered in my opinion. My javazon oneshots Cows on P8 and i doupt holy fire palay will oneshot on P8
This is the crux of the issue, MrLlama didn’t give much if any P8 footage with that build but I imagine it’s coming now from someone else.
Holy Fire is overpowered, especially on the low level progression. As soon as I got to about level 9 ish, I pretty much walked through Normal difficulty.
That to me is a problem, and it makes me think repeat of what happened to Diablo 3 post Loot 2.0/Reaper of Souls.
If they plan on keeping the pulse damage this high, I think the pulse damage on the auras at least needs to be nerfed based on character level. Once a character reaches lvl 80 or so, then the pulse damage on auras can reach their full potential.
You can already do that. You have been able to do that for 15 years.
The endgame holy fire build, that can only even be half as good as javazon, requires very late game gear. An end of ladder novelty/reward for mass farming.
