Hello folks, hello devs.

I got D2R Discord Chanel with 600+ ppl on. We all tested PTR changes this 5 days non stop, and we found changes very well, thank you Blizzard.
I see that there is on official forums is too much whiners, i didnt seen so toxic and whine community in my life, sorry to say. If i was dev, i was stop supporting this game after reading this whine and toxic textwalls for 15 minutes.
I am playing Diablo 2 from 1.00 vanilla release in 2000, and i am very happy that devs finally continueing to make balance and gameplay mechanics changes first time after 1.10 patch. Thank you.
For sure, noone can make a perfect patch that will be taken by everyone, because there is too much peoples who dont understand that balance can be crushed by turning around every numbers in game and every build.
I think devs must release patch 2.4 now on off server and start ladder in 5-10 days, because hype level is shutting down with every day. And if you play for time too much, there will be less online peoples at start.

Man, i am dont trolling. They didnt nerfed SS druids, they just gave them much options for gear, not only weapon based builds…

PTR is far from over friend. While the majority of changes are good, and well recived, there’s still more to tweak and fix. Another week of PTR minimum. And then another week of fine tunening, final intetnal testing and run, and then it goes live whit the Ladder start. So late February to early March is where I expect Ladder start.

I think there is some whine, but the Blizzard devs should be pretty familiar with this kind of whine. Look at the balance whine whenever they patch Starcraft 2 :joy:. I’m sure they know the community is greatful they are changing and improving D2R and I’m sure they have thick-skin and don’t worry too much if they see something that is pure “whine”.

The patch is looking pretty good so far, but there are definitely issues in there that big chunks of the community would be unhappy about if it went live tomorrow…

Devs and Blizzard will want good publicity only from this patch, it will show that the game is new and fresh, and encourage new players to buy/play the game… Win-win for everyone :+1:

What do they need to fix. Well, since you asked. They completely destroyed shapeshifters as a build. Fire druids are still useless. Summon druids are still terrible. The Auradin is even more gamebreaking. They took the things that were broken with dual Dream and brought them to Holy Fire. They could address those problems for a start.

Let me guess. Your Hammerdin is ready to go.

I don’t think they will release the patch until they resolve the Druid SS issue. That’s because many people tested it on the PTR and this change was not welcome at all.

In addition to the Druid SS, I would change the limitation of new runewords to swords only and add to melee weapons. With so many types of weapons in the game like axes, spears, etc…, I don’t understand why rw only one type of weapon

Was it you and your 600+ discord team too who advised CD Projekt Red on Cyberpunk, EA-Dice on Battlefield 2042 and Blizzard on WC3 Reforged on release dates and the completion of the testing phase?

If they launch ladder same day patch goes live and you think its whinny now woah boy you ain’t seen nothing yet. Patch needs to stabilize a week before ladder launch.

I don’t think auradin is gamebreaking especially if you look at the cost of said items, hydra/orb performs pretty god damn well with cheap gear, dual spirit, lore, smoke and some BS rings and amu.

EDIT: The old auradin was definitely gamebreaking, when you could stack the auras.

start the ladder now. learn while you play. or learn after everyone knows it all. which isnt fun for me. besides. there are always those who never learn in a million years.

Arent VV devs working on this patch? they shouldnt be involved in Starcraft. i sometimes feel bad for them. pretty sure i spotted an undercover dev a few days ago posting incognito in this forum. could be wrong about that though.

So you want posible unintended, unwanted exploits an bugs during Ladder. This realy tells a lot of things about you.

I will tell you what. As a player who likes to play SS druids, how is this for a compromise. Cap FCR for all characters at 19 regardless of gear and call it a buff. Then I am game to start ladder too. Think about that for a bit and maybe you can understand why people want things fixed before ladder starts.
