Can it be that Howl is not working properly ?
I started a Barb and used the skill from time to time at the beginning. Everything ok. Now I am lvl 40 in nightmare and none of the enemies react to the skill when I use it? (The Fear effect no longer triggers).
is it the opponent level or is the skill broken?
I did some quick research and couldn’t find much on the equation, but I think you’re on the right track when thinking about opponent level.
One thing I found suggested clvl + slvl + 1 vs. monster lvl.
You didn’t mention what level your Howl is, or where you’re fighting, but based on the level of monsters in NM it makes sense that a lvl 40 barb could certainly run into monsters in NM who wouldn’t be frightened away by Howl.
