Yes you can refund to Blizzard Balance if you purchased with Blizzard Balance. However, Blizzard Balance is not considered a form of currency and you can’t convert that to cash.

I prepared her for this situation by promising something in the shop and not buying when we were there.
First there was crying after understanding

People here are unreasonable.
There’s one camp of people who type in these forums as if they are raising a pitchfork with one hand and typing with the other, as if they are going to war.
Then there’s the other camp of people who are perhaps a bit more emotionally stable and roll their eyes at the first camp while defending blizzard
But there are very few people who are both a) emotionally stable, and b) willing to admit that Blizzard completely screwed this up due to their total lack of foresight.

Right now, the Blizzard employees are more toxic than any gaming community, resulting in this kind of behaviour. Not only are they toxic, it seems with such a budget and salary that they are also incompetent beyond levels ever measured.

What id like to know is…where is the bug report button now? When i played the beta there was one. shining in the corner, ready to be used. I never encountered bugs in the beta by the way…
yet now when i find bugs its gone. Whats the point of a beta if the alpha is going to be even worse?

What kind of half-intelligent human being needs “foresight” to expect a rush on servers on especially day 1?
They quite evidently didn’t even bother to do any kind of performance test on their servers.

I honestly don’t think anyone here has the insight into the technical aspects to make an accurate statement as to whether or not they screwed up due to lack of foresight.
Being in the industry, I’ll always pass along the benefit of the doubt unless I’m given a reason to feel otherwise. I just can’t fathom getting so angry and making post after post saying “I’m refunding” and bashing the company. If that’s what you want to do, then fine. Be an adult, refund, then exit. So many tantrums here though.

It’s not like they are a multibillion dollar publisher with previous experience of bad laucnhes that have should have the technical know how and financial muscle to do it right.

The game tells me to check my internet connection even though I’m online. DHCP issue or server incapacity even though they knew the numbers of players creating games or they have an internal leak.
