How much money for quality of life changes in D2R?

I’m in 100%. 40$/month and in exchange I want game integrity.

i) I want to be able to trade for the most expensive items in the game. This means no 40square limit.
ii) I want to be able to keep high runes in my stash without having to worry that I am losing value
iii) I want botting to be regulated (weekly bans) which will likely mean their extinctions
iv) I want high level RTM to disappear. Sure I’ll never be able to stop Jimmy from taking his credit card out but merchants owning 90+% of top items preventing me from basic access to high end items through price-fixing. I think botters/merchants go hand-in-hand. No botting probably means the end of merchants.

How much for shared stash in classic?

it wouldn´t be the first time they implement something later in a season. but i wouldn´t hold my breath, it´s probably all about diablo snore for while longer.

and, as such, put ladder back to 1 year and there would be plenty of time in between resets for some of this work to be done and it would kill d2stores

Hell no!!!

$40/month for a 23 year old game?? I think not.

People are sick and tired of paying companies to do their jobs.

Maintaining a good quality product to secure good publicity and player influx.

how about that?

D2 servers have been going strong for 30 years. I think they can manage this game another 25+ without more money.

They have (in Donald Trump voice) billions and billions.

True but server stability is not what people are complaining about. Though to be fair, since D2R came out, the stability of legacy D2 is basically a joke. People want QOL improvements and they are unwilling to spend development time on it. Could they? Of course they could but they won’t profit from it. Thus, it is pretty unlikely that we will see anything but minimal updates.

They just need to add 2 more purchasable stash tabs and create armory with transmogs, with only that 2 things they will generate much more money, i know that they only will develop more patches if d2r start to do microtransactions, sad.

Iirc they said they will “continuously upgrade the game with each season” and the only 2 changes I noticed was 1) removing the last bit of little challenge with hell and it’s immunities with the charms and 2) the assa claw PoE clutter runeword, nothing else so far. Hell they didn’t do jack :poop: for S4, which came out 1 month before D4 was about to release on may 5th (d4 release June 6th). Way to promote the next title in the genre “we do not make updates F-You and thanks for the money”.

Not really, you need to beat Hell to get the charms (assuming you don’t trade for one) and even then it’s functionally ineffective without -enemy resist%. Before the Cold Mastery sunder nerf then yeah I’d agree that was too easy.

Terraria is like 5 dollars, and provided updates for over 10 years.
Valheim is 20 bucks and has provided updates for more than twice as long as D2R has been out…
minecraft is 12 years old, still getting regular updates. One time purchase for 40 bucks.
Ultima online is 26 years old, and they still get expansions and updates.

What a downright stupid appeal. No patch == D4 problems. Thats why.

Remember, D2 was FREE. Why would you even OFFER to pay something. Are you so soft that you cannot even stand ONE season without updates? Is this trolling? Or are there just some babys crying very loudly for the attention of mommy Blizzard?

Demand it! But a money offer is downright stupid, against the interest of us, the players.

Is this what we’ve come to now? People mindlessly bickering about whether or not paying for QoL/expansions in D2R is bootlicking or not?

Jeez, guys. The dig at millenials was pretty classic too, considering millenials are 28-42 years old.

Might want to do some research there, buddy.

Why do I pay a monthly “subscription” for internet/tv/phone etc…?
I mean i bought the service, paid the connection fees… and now I just operate on established equipment…
It’s all done right?
LOL.

I just want to pool our resources and buy the license off Microsoft.

This game just need mod support online, open the code to mods, and PD2 with D2R graphics would be the best arpg 2023.

But that would bruise the egos of the tech bros at Blizzard

Because those are services and this is a game, a tangible product.
