Now that Pez has moved on, can we get some communication? Who will be updating us on what’s going on? Will we be getting a 22 nights of terror event this year?

All they do is announce and reset the ladder… They could easily automate it, they likely have been:
Step 1: Post a ladder announcement blog/post from a saved template, change the dates to be accurate, hopefully any blog links actually work, but going based on their history, I doubt it.
Step 2: Reset the ladder, update blog post to reflect that the ladder has started.
It shouldn’t be that difficult.
As far as the 22 nights of terror, that’s something that can be automated as well… It has happened at the same time since it has started. They can always shuffle the daily buffs/debuffs to make it feel different.
And as far as announcing any game changes/updates.. Dream on.
D2R absolutely noneeded.
If u want community and updates, just play PD2.

PD2 has active community ~15k ppl, no sh1tsaic, no sunders… and it has very good balance changes.
D2R is broken dead game full of bots, real players is less tahn 10% of PD2… some rmt, few nostalgia ppl, few purists, few speed runners, few PK/PvP ppl… nothing else.
We should find out when they announce D2 LoD’s ladder season in the next week or two.

btw even ping is better on their servers, I have ~35 on PD2 and ~97 on D2R LOL

Most people who would do that, already did. D2R is 4 years old now. Those left here, are the ones who stuck around. Or play both (my case, I play PD2 on PC and D2R is my go to on the rog ally).

Honestly it may be time to remove forums. Maybe only keep bug reports and technical support if it’s any useful and any dev reads it.
Most of people sit on Reddit, Facebook, X, Twitch etc. It’s better for advertisement too when posts can reach people outside of community.
Keeping forum servers up where mostly same 5 people talk feels like a waste nowadays.
