Help: Oath rune word

I have (had) a 4 OS 15% ED Eth Sup Ogre Maul for which I decided to input the runeword Oath (Shael, Pul, Mal, Lum), as Oath will increase IAS and Dmg as well as make the item indestructible. I looked around to verify that the item in question is a Mace class item and that the runeword in question works in Mace class items… I thought I took all necessary precautions, however, after inputting the runes in the specified order, the result was not the runeword Oath, rather… an item with the runes Shael Pul Mal Lum and their respective properties…

Anyone have anything thoughts on this? Thanks

Also, for the record highland blade is a better base for oath.
