Hey everyone,
I’ve just recently come back to Diablo II: Resurrected after a long break, and I’m running a Sorceress (classic Frozen Orb + Teleport build).
Everything was going great in Normal until I tried to make my first Spirit Sword… and made the classic rookie mistake 
I didn’t check the item level of the Crystal Sword I used for Larzuk’s socket quest — it only rolled 3 sockets instead of 4.
So… no Spirit for me 
Now I’m in Nightmare Act 2, and it’s been rough — mana constantly empty, slow cast rate, dying to bugs in the Maggot Lair and ghosts in Arcane Sanctuary. I didn’t realize missing one socket could hurt this much.
If anyone happens to have a spare Spirit Sword, or even just a 4-socket Crystal/Broad/Long Sword base, I’d be super grateful! I’d love to keep the momentum going and finally reach Hell difficulty this time

spirit is not necessary at this stage, you can do without it
are you going too fast maybe ? that is, are you strong enough ? are you within ±5 lvl compared to the alvl ?
this shouldn’t be happening if you are careful
you are not going single element with FO… so maybe start thinking about blizzard or maybe start developing a second element… for the sake of the argument, lightning is nice and powerful and hits in a line

If you’re on PC NL SC I’d happily gift you a Spirit sword or base. Might have some other sorc gear I could stand to clean out as well like Tal’s armor/belt.

Sounds good! I may have to do a bit of mule hunting to find things, but I bet I can find some stuff you’ll like. Pretty confident I have an extra Tals armor, Tals belt, and Occy kicking around, probably some Frosties. Found Chancies last night but may have “free” game’d them, don’t remember lol.

I’ll keep try-harding from here — and if things get tough again, I might call for backup

Yup I accepted it on my phone! Glad you got a Spirit! Happy to give you some other gear but also respect wanting to tough it through on your own a bit too!
