Just looking for a legit answer on the highest runes that drop in hell cows. I’ve seen YouTube vids of Ber, Jah, and Ohm drops but when you look it up it’s says Vex is highest possible. I’ve had Sur’s, Lo’s, etc drop other places, but Vex is the highest I’ve actually seen drop in hell cows so I’m trying to get legit info with a legit source. Thanks fellow nerds

I picked up an Ohm during a cow run a few weeks ago. Highest rune I’ve ever gotten.
Had a ohm drop last week in hell cows solo.
I read it somewhere that hell cows have the runes17 drop table, which means they can drop any rune in the game.
My highest from them was Gul just this weekend.
I’ve had Zod drop in solo bnet few days ago so they can drop every rune in the game. But before that cows gave me 2 ber’s, sur, 2 ohm’s.

Yep, they can drop any rune in the game confirmed.
There are specific builds even for pure hell cows farming like Fury Java etc.
Good density lot of rolls for runes.

Starting in the Hell difficulty, each Act features a number of level 85 areas where any item, including Zod, has a chance to drop. These areas are the second exception to the normal Rune dropping rules. Many of these areas are regularly farmed by players for this reason.
Here is a list of level 85 areas in Diablo 2:

Further, Hell Bovines in the Secret Cow Level/Moo Moo Farm may also drop any Rune despite being only level 81.

Iv had jah drop twice in arcane sanct so that’s wrong
according this table zod can only drop act5 ?
I recently found my first zod in chaos sanctuary ! So either the table is wrong or resurrected changed something
Zod is highest. Any rune can drop. I know this not only from Google but I also found a Zod there.
that’s a level 85 area hence the exception below the table.
Rune drops depend on the area level.

AFAIK you can get any rune just doing cow runs
BUT you will need o farm for quite a bit
Why ask on forums saying you only got wrongs answers when you could just do your own research by looking it up on Maxroll or Silopen
I have found a Ber rune in lvl2 of the caves in secret passage from stony to dw. Instead of just copying and pasting everything maybe take the time to tune it up better so people aren’t having a misconception. You don’t need a lot of the info you post.
I found a Cham and my second Jah in cow level.
Great post, too bad the people who directly replied to you can’t read.
So, does that make Act 2 Hell the best palce to find a Lo? IE Tomb runs?
