I just switch region to europe then back to americas and it’s fine again.

Locked out since 11AM EST.
I just tried…again…to join a game through the lobby and was successful.
I suggest trying again.
I did the scan and repair and it worked for me, althought I tried that already. I AM IN AFTER 18 BLOOD HOURS OF HELL STILL ANGRY AT BLIZZ

nothing worked,
patch did nothing,
scan and repair did nothing,
changing region and back did nothing.
This worked for me as well. I got the error after the patch. Switched regions and back. Can log in now.

I can now officially say I have been unlocked.
I don’t know if it had anything to do with it, but I made a hardcore character and played for a short time, then when I tried softcore characters again I was able to log in.
no idea if it was coincidence but scanning and repairing after patch and then i could log in
I just got in after 20 hours of being stuck
my stuck char is not unstuck…hoping this fixes it

Can confirm, after “Save & Exit” I was able to create a game. Fixed here.
I got in just now. Was locked out for 8 hours.

What do you all mean with “Save & Exit”? I just press escape and do not click on exit on main menu. But that cannot be a mistake.
I got unlocked, but also got rollbacked , lost all of what I did … in my last session
