Happy with the new D2R

Its been years since i played that ol’ Diablo II and we all know how ugly it was and dealing with annoying botters in the Bnet.

Want to say, did a great job remaking this D2. This was my wishlist way back then, that wanted to be remake with a better engine, etc.

I know we all had some issues on the first day, like to point out few things about this new D2. First of all, why does Amazon look funny? I mean, look like a Roman Officer (male look) back in those days. I tried to get into Diablo III, for some reasons i just didnt like it. Been hearing that Witch Doctors suppose to be Necromancers, but they arent. Finally we get the Necromancer Class to play, but still doesnt look right. I mean the Skeletons look like metal robots lol. Not mention that silly rainbow, poines, etc. Just wasnt into that, even Diablo look like a imp. That where i stopped playing, i think when it was back auction for sale, until it got pulled down. Cause so many using that for ingame cash, etc.

I havent gotten far in this game, really looking forward to it to relax. If anyone got anything to say, something positive, please do. Also please dont flame the thread!

Since a large portion of the player base can’t play it at the moment, I’d say you’re in the minority right now being impressed with the game. Feels more like a cash grab waste of money at the moment

Are there really still major issues? I wont be able to log on for a while. But it seemed to have stabilized around 10est for me. Logged off at 12.

Going on nearly 10 hours of the “character already in game” error when I try to create or join a game…so it’s 100% unplayable at the moment for many many people

Yeah i dont understand why they cant play, been hearing things about it. When this went live i manage to play for an hour to level six. Noticed something that i was dc’ed from trade chat, etc. That where things started to break the game.

Now seem to be fine to me, dunno what their problems is.
