Blizzard did an excellent job remastering this game… They perfectly transferred their lack of action on the botting/cheating/RMT issues.
The original game is actually slightly better… At least the original game autobans VPNs, which are primarily used by RMTchat spam bots.

Hoto is doable in a day. Dclone walk is not!
No you didn’t. I checked JSP after your BS in the other post. Only 7 pages unless I missed where he had 10+, but since you’re usually fully of it, I’d suspect you are right now.
Apparently they can stack dclone to where he is just about to walk before ladder reset, so technically he could be ran after 1 SOJ after the ladder restart.

Me neither and I was suspicious of the same thing last time, then that got pointed out to me because I too thought that was a crazy amount to achieve just to burn so early on in ladder, it made me think for a second that duping might be possible or at least glitching the walk somehow.
In less than 2 hours after reset LLama and crew were already farming Hell. You get a team of 8 guys who know what they are doing - I can imagine in a day a HoTo is possible. They were making key farming games every 2 minutes.
Hoto is pretty much a vex rune… it is not unlikely to find it or cube 2 guls if you are lucky to find one and get one from hellforge (not everyone wants to play mosaic ya know).

Yeah I’m gonna collect SoJs next time and trigger a walk right before ladder launch on all servers next time.

I thought the same thing once I learned about it. Honestly pretty funny lol. But then again I don’t want to stop everyone else’s fun. And to be honest it seems like only the very best benefit off that first surprise walk. Especially if they know it is coming.

but why? Be happy that you can get an anni early in the season … you should rather focus on having a dclone killer char ready …
Why? They’re stopping my fun by trying to exploit and time an early hush hush morning walk to get exclusive annis to sell for money or a ton of FG. Annis should be something that requires some time for the economy to develop. Healthy economies are how I enjoy the game. So they can stop ruining my fun.

It has nothing to do with a healthy economy or not. The problem is not 1 early walk and early in this case was about 8 hours into ladder. The problem for the economy is that there are plenty of bots and people try to play the FG game instead of D2R.
If you can’t get a char to hell in 8 hours, you probably don’t deserve the early anni anyway.
I mean the price is going to get ruined either way. They still going to do secret walks. The ones with the extra copies and machines that can rush themselves through the game are still going to dominate. And you’d have minimal affect on the economy. two days later another walk is still going to happen at an odd hour and those are still going to be the ones that profit off it.
Well, at least two days would be enough time to camp the Asia server or whatever one gambles to be the one. I’m definitely going to collect thousands of sojs so I can ensure this doesn’t happen again. 2 days is fine. However it’s much more likely it’ll take 4 or 5 days.
Collecting sojs is a great reason to play the ladder now. So on that end, I thank these people.

Btw we had already 3 walks and next is coming in a few hours.
I’m uninterested in how I ruin the game for exploiters only interested in IRL RMT money. The count should start with a ladder refresh.
