At any rate this is a great guide and will help ensure people have a relative understanding on trades. I just don’t want to see people relying too heavily on this and miss out on opportunity value from turning a trade down because the trade was a very marginal loss.

I understand what you mean, i will try to modify initial message later to remind everyone that pricec are not fixed forever.

I will definitely talk more about price progression when i get to unique items and sets.

I am part of discord where new players are asking about value of their items all the time so i think this can really help. I am not dictating to sell for my suggested prices. I am mostly trying to teach what has value and why.

• Ber is clearly more valuable than Jah (Just compare the runewords you can make with each of them). Please either swap the two in your list or add like +5 Ist to the value of Ber.
• Sur is less valuable than you think. Since there is hardly any runeword of value that requires it, the value of Sur is being “half a Ber”.

Jah is only worth more than ber in the early stages of a ladder. A few days to a week max, after that ber is the more valuable rune, because of, as you said, Infinity, Enigma, CoH and more runewords that are in high demand.

Sur is also considered half a ber, as this guy said. Sur is basically only used to cube up for ber.

I know this is rather old but:
Runewords
Oath: Shael + Pul + Mal + Lum (NOT Shael + Pul + Mal + Um)
Duress: I think it’s really useful for Ubers, it’s a really good source of Crushing Blow, Open Wounds and resists. I use it on my smiter and it works great. My fohdin/smiter hybrid with Conviction doesn’t even need Treachery Fade proc swap for Mephisto.
Splendor: I think it’s a decent alternative to Rhyme if resists aren’t a concern: it provides +1 to all skills and similar magic find. I use it on my sorceresses if I don’t have any Lidless Wall before switching to Spirit Monarch.
Nadir: can be useful for rushing, using Cloak of Shadows charges.

Too funny … some no name is gonna try to set some type of pricing system in-game like I was shopping at walmart or something. What a friggin joke!!! He has control issues and tries to fix the market in his favor, LOL!

I will trade for what I think it’s worth and nothing less. They don’t like it, they do without. I’ll charsi it first if I don’t need it, lol.

Besides, I don’t trade in pgems or runes, lol. Antiquated and pisspoor system.

I base all of my trades on FG!!!

Now, don’t like it? Tough cookie!!! Maybe blizz will one day come out with their own trade system that actually works!! Hahahhaah, I cracked a joke!

Until then, I use the one stable system I could find. FG works for me and a helluva lot of other people.

why would anyone even do that? just get a flawed diamond (easiest drop ever) and combine those 2 pul into an um your self just like all those other runes listed. max roll has all the recipes listed so research them first imo.

they did, it was called trade channels. it wasn’t until botting began to run rampant that they all went to that site i won’t list. and don’t say people would get ripped off…all you had to do was spend an hour tops viewing trade spam to get an indication of what is worth what. it worked quite well until RMT took over. meh.

Those are gone now. Doubt they will ever be back. Chat is totally broken and unusable. Thanks guys. You don’t need RMT to trade and to do so with stability. I use JSP and no money and it is stable and works great. So, your RMT thingie, not.

Regarding botting, well, botters run blizz. Everything they want they get. Real players get ignored. Read the threads yourself. Look between the lines, look at all of the multi-accounts … it could not be more obvious unless you are a total retard.
