For a very long time we would not be able to fill game with actual players as spam bots would join before that could happen.
This only stopped in last few years with latest patches. -
There are no bot games because there are no bots like there are in D2 original.

- I have never once in 20 years seen my Hell Chaos/Baal game fill with trade bots. If bots filled my games, it was always bots designed to actually run the Chaos or Baal. I mean, not saying your wrong, just saying Iâve never had that problem.
- Might want to reread what I said about bots man. I said the exact same thing that you just said: âThat there are no bots like there were in D2originalâ.

Anyway, to add in a response unrelated to Shivan, someone else in a different forum just said that: âWe need a Global Chat like in Path of Exileâ
I agree with this. If we had a global chat, you could summon 7 players to your game immediately on demand, and it would be nearly as useful as adding /players 8 to multiplayer. It would also just plainly be a massive upgrade for community cohesion in general.

You have serious delusional problems. The first two people in this thread to disagree with you even to the simple point of âAre you sure?â were met with insults, accusations of trolling, and just general toxicity.
And if according to you I am a troll, and an unsuccessful one at that, and as are anyone else who disagrees with you, why is every simple response to you met with a tenfold reply?
This was my experience on the original game on US West. Everyone used /cow to find cow games and it was full of players (no bots) looking to play cows. It went all the way up to /cows30 , literally thousands of players doing cows.
All you had to do was type hellcow6/6 and 8 players would INSTANTLY fill the game up and continue playing until everyone left.
But in 2022 I have literally 1 cow or baal game refreshing through my feed at a time

No one asked me: âAre you sure?â They came out and used Ad Hominems to attack my personal character. What kind of misrepresentation of the timeline of facts is this? Furthermore, I did not insult them. I simply pointed out what they were doing in the same way that I am doing to you. If you find that insulting, maybe you should reconsider your choice in actions as you are the one insulting yourself, not me.
Plenty of people disagree with me and we end up having productive growth filled discussions in this forum, but those are the ones who are not being insulting.
The ones who do insult me, who donât make any real statements or topical discussions or provide any mechanical insight whatsoever, are the ones who are being ignorant, and I will always point out to them what they are doing, like a mirror.
This is in hopes that they use that self-realization of looking in the mirror and seeing themselves, to evolve from being a butt, into being a normal person.

Well of course, you are helping make this thread entertaining to follow and providing free bumps so it is more widely viewed.
Your posts indicate that you believe you are trolling me, but in truth you are helping me keep this thread at the top of the list so many people see the statement that you are so starkly trying to discredit.
But also, I have been 100% serious in all my responses in this forum, explaining to you how you can grow and learn to better handle yourself in a forum like this or any social situation in general. I added Mith to my ignore list the other day. Absolutely never contributes anything other than personal attacks and it gets old very fast.
Another person that called everyone who disagreed with /players8 as âtoxicâ was also added to the list after similar personal attacks.
In most instances on this forum, I find ironically the individuals throwing around the label âtoxicâ to be the most toxic of all. It shouldnât be like this, but it becomes apparent very shortly.

Iâm not the one chest puffing my D2R forum street cred and obsessing over other peopleâs posting history as it relates to me, but you do you.
But you are chest puffing insults and some incentive to argue with me. I already know why youâre doing it, but do you know why you are doing it?
Iâll give you a chance to answer that question yourself, for the learning process. I want to see if you are able to self-realize your own actions and if you are bold enough to be honest with me about your results.
For once i agree with you.
When I started playing diablo 3 i was very disapointed that there is not good place to communicate like we had in diablo 2 which i played so many years and was used to. It felt like they transfered great lobby and chat into antisocial feature because everything got anonymous. You even cant see players in chat therr, you just read chat which had same issue you talk about, its localized.
Then when i started playing overwatch and it was same story, there is no place in game where you can actualy well talk with players or make groups, game lobby is missing and chat sucks. And we are waiting over 5 years for guild/clan/tournament feature in game.
When they made D2R i was so excited to finaly have good game lobby and chat as in old D2, but no⌠They continued with common theme to make everything antisocial as possible. In old D2 i was automaticly joining my country channel so i was able to communicate with people most close to me with my language and we could pick any other channel for different countries or trading channel for example. I knew many people in chat.
In D2R you dont know anyone in chat because nobody bother to talk. Its hard to notice who is talking and when someone is, bot spam make sure you wont see it so communication there is pointless.
Diablo 2 had another great thing. You could actualy write down some stuff about you in profile so others could identify you better and it could give them basic info who you are. Or you could place there your trading offer for example or invitation into guild.
It is so nice that we can see game based on difficulty we pick as i love that feature but game list has only very small range not listing games you should see. Like come on we are Global. Why the hell i cant see games made in US? Well i dont even see all games in EUâŚ
Its is so hard to socialize with others in D2R and i hate it. I can use discord as you said, yeah. But it would be so much better to be communicating, finding players to play and trading in game directly.
Edit: And omg it happened so many times that i kept to wisper someone because i forgot to leave the private chat with them and switch back to game chat. Am i only one? And you dont even see normal chat anymore if you talk with someone privately so you dont see if something important is going on in game chat.
