So Im having new issues. I havent played in a while, upgraded to windows 11 and now the game is broken. Once in a while it works flawlessly, then It wont connect to battlenet, fails to authenticate. Even if I do get into a game (sp or mp) it runs horrible at 40fps compared to my usual 144.
Ive rebuilt files, ive scanned the game, Ive reinstalled D2 on a different SSD. Run as admin. Ive logged in and out of battlenet. Nothing else seems wrong with my system. updated my nvidia driver, flushed my DNS, restarted my router. Im out of options and wondering if this is a common thing now? Google reveals nothing.
make sure win11 is also told to use your dedicated GPU instead of the integrated one…
such drastic drop in fps can only be explained by game using different gpu…
My CPU doesnt have integrated. Its all off the 3070. I know, its bizarre. Nothing is fixing this.
