And those were just the ones active from the past 5 days. And those were just the ones where people explicitly mentioned disconnects rather than “connection issues” or “crashing,” both of which could be related to this specific problem.

Basically, anytime a Blizzard Customer Service Rep, or an “MVP” has addressed the issue, they’ve basically decided to claim that there wasn’t a problem and blame the issue on “packet loss” on the part of the customer. They’ve also tried to downplay the number of people with this issue, when it’s clearly a lot.

I don’t know about all of you guys, but my internet is fine. It works perfectly in every game but this one, and it worked perfectly fine on this game in beta before they made changes to the code that caused it not to work.

The really infuriating thing about this entire debacle is that Blizzard has refused to acknowledge the problem, let alone let customers know when they’re going to fix it. Instead they’ve attempted to gaslight us into thinking that the issue doesn’t exist, or that it’s somehow our fault that hey wrote crummy net code and that’s pretty pathetic.

There’s a reason why Blizzard has developed a poor reputation over the past decade or so, and it’s the result of crap like this.
