i have this same issue. It has been over 7 hours and it has not corrected itself. I am still getting “Failed to enter game, this character is already in a game on the server”. i Tried a different character and it just says “join fail” and will not let me create games. I am completely unable to play this game… please help!

I have also had this problem for 4+ hours at this point. Died in a Baal game and left, have been stuck in this limbo ever since.

I have the same problem for +3 hours.
Left a baalgame after finishing him quickly. Can’t play :frowning:

EU server.
Tried to switch to other servers, create new games, rebooting etc. Absoltutely nothing works.

ya… it just happened… I joined an old game… and quickly left it… and now I’m stuck in “character is already in a game” purgatory

Deleting all characters did not fix it. Changing all servers around not fixing. Waiting for 6 hours now and really wanna play. Hardcore works. Only sc effected. Plz restart servers Blizz.
Newest driver and newest windows.

Exact same issue here, failed to enter game, this character is already in a game on the server after trying to identify some item and it just went stuck.
