The queue is just another form of grinding, leading to an even higher sense of accomplishment when reaching that #0.
Personally, I just reset the game when getting to #0 to experience the queue again, the queue grind is more but the rewards are equally more too.
If anyone has any advice on how to even further extend this type of grind please comment to let me know.
Thanks.

The past several days, reaching position 0 generally means I get the âCannot connect to serverâ popup, which leads to yet another opportunity to sit in the queue. Usually at a higher number than the starting position of the previous queueâŚ
No need to reset the game - as D2R usually does all that work for me! Very considerate of Blizz to save me all that workâŚ

In a way, youâre right. Right now the queue is grinding down Blizzards reputation amongst Diablo fans.
Anyone whoâs played the original game recently is all too familiar with queues, waiting up to an hour just to create a single game.
Yes the âcannot connect to serverâ is a blessing in disguise I must admit. That being said I also upgraded to a dialup internet connection just to make sure that some type of unexpected technical difficulty would occur.
Canât authenticate twice in a row. Now 1.5 hours in queue

Wow! This comment was so helpful! I was wondering the same thing myself. You just summed up my answer. Blizz does all the work for the playerbase. I went from 176 in queue to 187 after if dropped me and automatically re-queued. What a reward. Again, thank you for your advice!!

I find another tip to even further increase the queue/reward is to run the game without a graphics card on max FPS on a dialup wifi connection from a cafe hotspot.
The game doesnât even start, but sometimes it almost does, giving you just enough hope that it might someday actually work, which is what keeps me going through the tough times.
