Is NM the best place to find em or Hell preferably?
yeah I’m looking for these on hell a5 for self use and no luck, maybe those who found them can enlighten us if nightmare is better

All shopping guides I found suggest Nm for Echoing weapon.

Doom, I wonder how the preferred colors factor into the difficulty selection (NM v Hell)? I’ve found 10 or more gold colored +3 warcries swords. 2 black. Zero green or blue or red. It seems like blue needs cold damage, and it seems it also has to pass a certain cold damage threshold to turn blue (because I found a very low + cold damage echoing sword that remained gold colored). So does the game difficulty being Hell increase the chances of higher cold damage numbers?
Those guides don’t talk about colors, I found only gold ones so far. If you check Teemo’s original post then you can see that a sword with the lightning suffix can be blue too.
edit: of winter gives the highest cold damage and blue color and it is already available on Nm.
edit 2: of icebolt (chance to cast lvl x icebolt on attack) suffix also have blue color.
The blue have either cold damage or chance of nova strike or lightning strike .
I buy black too !

Maybe take color after the “strongest” affix … with the exception of “chance to cast level xxx yyy”
I’ve found icicle and frost suffixes, but they are low level and stay gold. Winter is 45, as echoing … so maybe or maybe not
Swords mentionned before got mana leech (lamprey is 55) and life steal (vampire is 56) so they took after the suffixe color.
The image’s blue sword got a “chance to cast”, as do my black sword …
But i don’t know how the color is choosen (mine is cold spell and black … while Teemo is lightning and blue)
Maybe a modder would be able to bring some enlightenment on this
just to confirm, you guys are using the larzuk socket quest to get these after buying from a vendor? Is rerolling weapons with flawless gems worthless or is that a viable option too (I know it wipes the stats)?
Larzuk quest, you have 50% chance to get 1 os and 50% chance to get 2 os.
Got 2 more reds (ladder) 
Don’t know what you would do with all these, but they are at your disposal whenever you want …
