Druid Nerf, Now Fix Paladin Conc Bug

As noted in 2.6 Patch Notes, the developers fixed an underlying issue for the Druid that caused the Druid’s Shockwave skill to do an unintended amount of damage. The developers elaborated further that having a particular Druid build be strong because of a bug is not intended.

Using the same reasoning and logic from Blizzard, the developers would be justified on the principle of equal treatment, to fix the underlying issue that exists for the Paladin, namely the Concentration synergy bug that increases the damage for Blessed Hammers at 50% efficiency. Any reasonable person can see without a doubt this is absolutely comparable to the Druid’s Shockwave skill doing an unintended amount of damage.

Why should the Paladin get a free pass on this outstanding bug? I’m proposing to the developers to take action and remove the Concentration synergy bug as it is clearly an exception to established mechanics while ensuring a consistent stance with the nerf to the Druid’s Shockwave skill irrespective of this bug existing for a exorbiant amount of time.

Equal treatment is equal treatment.

"slap wrists’ Conc is working as intended(old design team chose to leave it that way since players liked it)

this is a new design team…instead of asking hammerdin nerf…how about trying to pressure design team to bring it back ? with maybe a little tweak(apparently it did absurd dmg on the level of charged strike from amazon but aoe instead of single target)
so unintended could become intended(with a bit of tweaking so it dont do too much dmg)

Respectfully disagree. Equal treatment is equal treatment irrespective of time.

Yup. Nerf conc buffing hammers, nerf mosaic as well its too op.

Conc buffing hammers makes no sense, its an exception to established rules and apparently with the cold mastery nerfs the devs agree that consistency of mechanics is what is important. Its also why they nerfed attack speed on barbs and shapers as well.

Nerf cta because its a prebuff item and this community apparently hates that.

Agreed, why should the Paladins get a free pass on a concentration bug when they express that consistency of mechanics is what’s important. I stand by their decision to correct outstanding bugs for the betterment of the game. This is a long overdue bug that should be corrected.

All the bugs should be fixed benifical or not

With best in slot gear and an inventory full of skill charms, shockwave bear was at best a players 3 character, very sad they nerfed it.

If they wanted to fix the bug thats fine, they could have increased skill damage to compensate.

Once again it’s getting special treatment

Literal child on a playground mindset

“MY TOY BROKE, TEACHER BREAK EVERYONE ELSES”

They already said theyre going to buff druid to compensate for fixing the bug

But YES it is stupid they didnt do it this patch lol why even address it, They were basically like this was an unintended buff that we will fix with real buffs… but not right now though hehe

Requesting they fix ALL outstanding bugs is for the betterment of the game. I’m glad they fixed the Druid’s Shockwave bug, just sad they didn’t go back and buff that skill for some decent damage scaling to compensate.

Now is the time they should also fix the concentration synergy bug. If they want to buff Blessed Hammers to compensate, that is their decision. Fixing bugs such as this makes it easier for newer players to understand the game’s mechanics, which is already complicated enough.

Oh yeah I 100% agree lol its stupid its a hidden mechanic and should just be built into the synergy. Thought you were just trying to get pally nerfs as revenge for druids

Agreed. Hidden mechanics is a bad thing.

No they did not say that.

Nerf hammerdins now

It hasn’t been a bug for a long while, it’s by design now…

Remove CTA because it effectively removes weapon swap from every single build and replaces it with a buff. It’s not even a numbers issue, it’s just boring game design.

What’s the statute of limitations for a bug? :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree. Remove cta is a good idea.

at the moment they nerf hammerdin the population of this game will go down to barely 5% of players and the 95% that left will play offline mode modded without that “nerf” and better QoL things like the beastmod “BT” i think it’s called (or something like that, this mod have stackable runes etc… all we been asking them for over a year and more).

we want fast runs
we want feel OP after get end game gear
we want that after 10000 hours of farming be OP
Every build should be able to P8 ez with full end game gear, EVERY BUILD (anything diferent than this it’s a failure as a game build diversity).

Clearly less than 2 decades

I’m not sure where you come up with that. I think the opposite would happen and would highlight to the community the developers are not afraid of making big sweeping changes for the betterment of the game.

Nerfed hammers at 5-6K with removing the effect of concentration is still one of the best characters in the game.

Heck, to throw paladin players a bone, they could even buff Vengeance by removing Salvation synergy and roll bonus into main skill (reduce synergies required to max skill). I think most people would support this change.
