Why do people feel the need to post a thread about not enjoying the game as much as other people? Just move on. Every game has a different lifespan to different people. I’ll personally play it off and on for decades to come, but not everyone has to feel that way.
D2Rs long journey to find loot is infinitely better than D3s systems that had you fully geared in a few days with unique confetti at every boss lol. I was mad af after D3’s release because i lost all interest within a few months instead of years like i assumed. Maybe D4 will have some mixture and meet in the middle?

i also have horrible luck with drops but thats only a small reason i play. I just dont like solo. I have more fun in a group. find a fun character then you wont care about drops.

I can imagine it is the last hope by telling that the drop rates are not for having fun so the company could change it and make him happy again.
It won´t happen, but every customer feels that he is the one who counts and without him, they should recognize the problem.

I was getting pretty lucky with drops myself, but maybe look into PD2 if you want increased drop rates among other things. The new season will start at the end of the month. I believe it’s set to P5 drops in solo games and increases from there based on the # of players in game.

lmao yea. I hate MFing and only do 5-10 runs at a time tops and ive gotten a ton of great stuff over the past couple weeks. No griffons or Ohm runes, but plenty of awesome stuff to deck out many classes and able to trade up for some even better gear.
It’s also super easy to do a bunch of Hell Forges and get Pul, Um, Mal, Ist and Gul. Idk why people come into this game thinking they are going to be rocking full endgame gear in a week. D3 really ruined these kids. lol

part of the problem is how information is presented to us. streamers (with the exception of Llama?) and sites skip right to end game gear setups and completely gloss over the progression aspect of the game. which is kinda… the point of the game.
also people, especially new players wouldnt know good/gg mods on a rare if it bit them on the leg.

Theres dry spells and good ones. I can go for days with endless farming, then all of a sudden…boom.
50 Trav runs last night, and scored a Vex, Cham (which i turned around for a Gul), and a decent rare ammy for my nec alt.

yes drop rates for d2/d2r are terrible.
does not mean you can’t solo hell without good gear. very easy to create strong budget runewords and fill the rest of your gear with trash rares that do the job until you can find replacements later on.
if you like d2 but want easy drops and gear go play d3. beautiful game, good mechanics, different art style than d2. blizz is giving us 2 great choices, leave each game the way it is and just shut it and play what you prefer.

The whole point of low drop rates is to keep the game fun for a long period of time because there’s always something really rare you haven’t found yet. If you don’t enjoy playing the game with the chance (albeit slim) that you’ll find something really rare and really awesome, why do you think you would enjoy the game more when you already have every item you want?
It sounds like you just don’t enjoy the gameplay, items raining from the sky isn’t going to change that for more than a fleeting moment.
