Does Infinity *break* cold immunes now?

Well, but if I understand that, let’s do some maths.

Conviction does -85% resist to mobs.
Let’s think we’ve a Sorc with 25 points on CM, it reduces other -150% resist.

So, we’ve on total 235% less could resist on enemy, right? If it only apply 1/5 on mobs that’s immune, it’s only 47% reduction. Right? It’s too low to break a immunity.

Ok, now let’s talk about a Javazon, so they could use 4 jewels that do -5% on light resist, its -25%, so apply it to Conviction Aura -85%, totally 100%… If we apply only 1/5 on enemy that are immune we’ve only -25% resist, so why it breaks immunity and cold not?

It can be kind of dumb question, but I isn’t see the difference in it.

Cold Mastery is working as it was in LOD. It has no effect on Cold Immunes. It did when D2R initially released, but it has since been patched.

Which Blizzard would give us real patch notes.

Yeh… Agreed! So they need to change the description of skill to match what it do properly.
