Just wondering if crushing blow scales with player count.
https://www.theamazonbasin.com/wiki/index.php/Crushing_Blow
- Crushing Blow damage to monsters is divided by 0.5 + (0.5 * # players), so effectively monster’s current base life (prior to the 50% increase with each additional player) is reduced by a fraction.
Ouch…. So it does almost nothing in p8.
Couldn’t help but notice static field gets to keep its full utility regardless of player count.
Melee takes another L.
I’ve never seen anyone bring this up, (Not that it’ll ever be changed), but do melee players have an issue with this?
Casters have always kind of had the leg up so to speak for decades now and its just something I’ve come to expect. Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with it given we have 8 players in the game supposedly working together as opposed to going off doing their own things like split-farming. Plus, Static Field stops being effective at 50% HP on Hell difficulty while CB works at all times, albeit with diminishing returns as the HP bar drops.
like any other skill in the game except for SF (which you mentioned yourself).
One of the reasons why SF cannot reduce monsters past -/33%/50% life (minus calculating uncleanliness - it’s Blizzard, after all )
