Haven’t had a chance to play due to the fail to launch issue. I’m still eagerly waiting for that blue blizzard logo to start tearing through my blackened screen. I already know I’m going to love it, no doubt about it.
I admit, was pretty disappointed and angry by the launch issue. Now that I’ve had time to think about it, I’m impressed with how it was handled graphically and extremely grateful for how they stuck to the original but made the much needed qol improvements. I believe this remaster had great potential to be botched and we have been pretty lucky dodging that bullet.
I’d love if they did Diablo 1 as well. That game would be beautiful if remastered the same way.

It’s been fun to revisit~ It’s not perfectly how I imagined it but its still pretty epic!
Wish the game dc’s and the “character is already in a game” things were fixed though.
I can’t get in game, or the loading screen stalls for a reallly long time.
I’m enjoying it. very few problems. my favorite is necro so of course they had to release him only at launch. i remember necro leaks showing bone spear and it looked empty but now that i see the finished model it looks amazing. teeth looks great too. everything is so pretty but still dark. cinematics took it to the next level. original diablo kind of looked like a fake toy and honestly i thought the diablo at the end of the intro to diablo 1 looked a lot scarier but it was probably just his scream. he definitely looks scarier when walking thru the game. not really a trip down memory lane as i was already a daily player but i feel like I’ve entered a new generation which is nice. assassin’s face was weird to look at but after playing for a bit you don’t even notice or care.
Its been absolutely wonderful. Got a 50 pali rocking and rolling
i cant finish 1 act because im looking how looks every tree.
I can also miss the moment as I stand and just listen to the music of the game and the sounds.

I played it for something like 16 hours when it came out and another 12 today. Been having an absolute blast.

I’m not a veteran I’ve only played a little bit, but I’m a big fan of old school rpgs, don’t really care for easy mode instant gratification games of today’s standard. Loving it so far. The only person I’ve played with is my gf who has never played a diablo game before and she loves it too. Had to remind her to pop health potions for the first couple hours lol she is getting the hang of it now though. Teaching her how to kite, funnel, etc. Fun stuff

Couldn’t decide between paladin and Amazon for first character but decided on pally
Played for maybe 5 minutes and absolutely adored every single click
Only stopped playing because I want to finish pathfinder wrath and tales of arise first
We’re right here, loving it, sure it had launch issues, but that is normal, it’s fine now.

I’m not new but I love how this Remaster is. So beautiful made by Vicarious Visions!
It is really great. I hope for expansion with new act due to sales succes.

Gets old fast like it did back in the day
I never actually stopped playing D2. Eventhouth I spend most time recently playing popular mods like PD2 and PoD. I don’t know about server issues currently as I’m plaiyng SP and I’m having a blast! The new graphics and remastered sounds incredibly multiplies the atmosphere of vanilla. I’m missing a lot of QoL changes from mods (bigger inventory, stackable consumables etc,.) but I believe devs will bring us balances and content and those will make this game perfect!

Lol I would say the fact that now it tries to launch at least but crashes immediately after is a pretty big botch, how the beta can run perfectly and the launch can’t even get to the logo is beyond me. It’s extremely disappointing, I’ve been a Diablo fanboy since the first, this is just ridiculous, especially considering they didn’t even really do much to it beyond resolution and texture changes (so they said)
its fine, in around 11 hours from start of game (not counting missing 2 hours rollbacked), got to hell. Then i got locked out and im still waiting to play (over 28 hours waiting now)
It’s everything I loved from way back in the day. Hopefully the people crying for changes/updates don’t take a steaming dump all over the game before they inevitably quit.
it’s fun. they did a great job. I’m purposely not playing a lot until season 1 'cause I don’t want to get burnt out on vanilla.
Playing through SP just to get back into the swing of things after getting used to other action RPGs. The new coat of paint makes it feel like the first time I played it all over again which is something special. Looking forward to ladder starting.
The chat lobby is also every bit as crazy as it was years ago too. I love it.
