What happens when you finish and leave act 2? You cant continue playing the char in act I, II?

I guess I didn’t make it in… For someone who owns Diablo 2 , 3, and pre-purchased the Collectors Edition I assumed I would be allowed to test the Technical Alpha even though I’m not a streamer. I would still love to contribute to the new awaited Diablo 2 for over 10 years. Please consider me <3 D:
First off: Good Luck to Everyone that wants an invite!
It’s probably just like the other beta’s blizzard has had.
You can take the character that killed the boss and go back to begin, but you just walk all over everything and the rewards are less than decent.
If I get the invite I will just make all 3 characters and if there is HC option will take it too!
If i get it i will reach lvl 30 with all 3 and probably make video showing all skills on youtube. I would also try to gamble something for charges to possibly try skill of another hero who is not in alpha.
I would also write here on forum about every monster and location and how i like changes 
As an og D2 player it may sound odd, but I’m looking forward to giving controller support a try if I get in.

if you need a fix, you could play the original or give Path of the Exile a go.
