so like TZs but even stronger and active not just for one hour at a time?

Honestly I just wish TZs in general were 2-3 hours, and encompassed more zones per transition. About the time I get into a groove it’s on to the next. I see D2 as more of a long haul, and 1 hour feels like nothing at all.
The idea of them is fine, but the time frame seems targeted at a different demographic than the typical D2 player.
I’d change it to either terrorize a whole act or alternatively one zone per act in parallel.
I didn’t mind running Mephisto for some hours at a stretch - but that was 20 years ago. Nowadays I get tired after one hour of doing the same zone over and over again.

I think for me it’s the feeling of being rushed that tires me out more than anything. A good zone pops up and I’m like… dinner can wait, hold it in, hurry and clear the stash, stop whatever I was watching and focus, etc. I think a bit more time and I’d be way happier.
TZ’s are definitely better than being restricted to only Baal and Chaos runs. I’m OK with how they are. If there’s a good TZ, I’ll run it. If there’s a bad one, I’ll go hit up Baal and/or Chaos like the old days.
So nothing? Damnit Blizzard why is it so hard to put any effort in this game? Everyone agrees that D2R is better than D4 so wtf? Just a little bit of content and care is what we ask.
Smart move to not put effort into this season, considering PoE2 early access. I assume they are anticipating that it would be wasted effort.
That being said, im expecting double effort for next season ^^
PoE2 isn’t the reason they didn’t put much effort into the game this season. The lack of revenue from the game is the primary reason. 99%+ of the people interested in this game have already bought the game at least once. The only other way they make money from this game is by banning cheaters, who then turn around and rebuy the game. D2:R’s time in the spotlight is over and done with. Don’t think for one second they will tap into their other game profits to update D2:R, because they won’t. Blizzard is a business, they’re in it for the money, they’re not a charity.
Prepare to be disappointed.
Double effort being 2 bug fixes and 2 input changes.

Taking another pass on another ladders season.
A couple low hanging fruit fixes.
When you actually make a patch that is cleans up this broken mess I will try it.

Sounds like the 22 Nights of Terror event is still planned despite being close to the ladder reset. Also yet another place for D2R info that’s not the official forums in addition to Reddit and X.

They probably don’t want to be trolled on their own forum, since there are a lot of people who own this game on umpteen different Blizzard accounts, each of which has a forum voice. Sure, someone could have a bunch of social media multis… But where’s the time to do that when they’re busy exploiting the benefits of multiple accounts in D2/D2:R? They aint got time to stay active with a bunch of social media accounts! There’s items to find/bot/hoard/sell/RMT! Pssshhh!
Plus all of the people flooding them with endless game change requests.
