I lost my cursor in D2R when using a game pad since the steamOS 3.6 update broke it nearly a month ago….
Just found a way to get it back.
I am SO happy to have that thing back, I’m not even disappointed about this lacklustre d2 update lmao
Can you morons actually do something for once with this incredible game that set the franchise up for life?

I mean the 2 changes are nice… I guess? But that basically means nothing new is coming? I don’t understand why anyone would be excited for this

Why is blizzard doing their best to kill D2R
They remove key feature of the game, ones that are integral for its longevity
They turn systems into garbage like the chat
they introduce garbage systems like sunder charms
Then abandon the game
Then lie about the new ladder reset time
then they set the new ladder reset at the exact time as the Diablo Killer2 closed beta launch

Well I umm, speaking of excitement I noticed those sorc’s out there keep doing that twerking animation with one of their spells, when they’re in town XD

SSF is fun and all but what about MSF(Multiplayer Self Found). It’s ok to play alone but I wouldn’t mind playing in a group where we work with what we find and having to deal with the dilemma on splitting the spoils(including whether to do Countess or Forge Quests for example). Yeah, FG users will always have a leg up over the competition but that’s been the norm for what… 15+ years? RMT people… I seriously question your ethics(sellers not so much, I mean who wouldn’t want to make a quick $$$ but moreso the buyers).
In any case, I’m not 100% sure I’ll be available that Friday. Guess I’ll have to start late or with a group that doesn’t care how quickly they progress. Thinking of rolling Cleric Paladin, although I will use Conviction if requested(I just would prefer not to for once). I’m also open to rolling another class if requested but I haven’t made up my mind on what that may be.
Edit Also that Aura bugfix has me concerned a tad. Does this mean that the old trick with Prayer will no longer work? Namely I have Prayer at 28(or w/e) with Meditation at 17 to match my Mercenary’s Meditation along with Cleansing(via Plague). I’d get 2 stacks of Prayer through my two auras + additional two stacks of Mercenary Prayer since his Meditation matches my own + he has Prayer rolling natively. If this “bug” fixes Auras of the same level, one wonders if this means we can’t do this anymore.
Would it make a difference for you if it were a RM AH (auction house) like d3 used to have for a while?

disclaimer: never done any RMT myself. And I sit at zero FG and it has never been more than that. Now due to RL I have playing sessions where I don’t even advance a single WP since they are basically over before I started. Yet I always wanted to try out a infinity self-wield spearzon. Which requires 2 Ber and one Mal and Ist - nothing I will find in a normal ladder season.
So if such a person decides to (making things up) pay 5 bucks in order to finally try out a build that would be unobtainable in a normal way - why is this ethically wrong? You sell part of your life’s time in order to make money (9 to 5 says hello) - why not invest a tiny fraction of that instead of a massive time investment which you might not have?! Isn’t that actually relatively smart for someone who makes more money IRL than the time needed to aquire said items?

Not really the place to discuss Ethics but I’ll just say this. FG on JSP is the grey area between Traderie(where you haggle with items) to places that take actual cash for items. FG on JSP can be earned via trading/selling services(like rushing) but can also be bought(hence the grey area). The only bad thing about FG is that work you did in previous Ladders can then be lumped together to get something really early on a new Ladder, an advantage that frankly destroys the whole idea of a fresh Ladder.

Yeah I use QWERTASDFG MB3/MB4 f1/f2/f3/f4 myself with weapon swap on Space. With Z being character screen, X being skill tree, C being inventory, V being Cube, and B being journal just so I can close that annoying awful D2R quest popup.
Funny is PoE is trying to sell itself on WASD movement and I’m sitting here like… but I hate WASD… That was the main reason I hated Smite / V Rising. I even got used to playing WoW with mouse movement and strafe on MB4/5 so I could keep the left hand free for hotkeys.
WASD feel awful for movement when you need to hit A + Q, D + R/F/T/G, W+ 2 etc. It’s super limiting unless you have hands like a pianist.
I think PoE2 is honestly just more of an appeal to console players.

Original Guild Wars was great in that regard, you could mousclickwalk and/or QWEASD at the same time. (Serious) PvPers used click2move since it was better when there was even slight lag. PLUS it left your hand free for activating skills and didn’t interfere with that.
So games that offer both c2m and wasd are cool in my book. But if it’s only one alternative and we’Re talking online gaming, then it better be c2m imo.
Sooo we getting 22 nights of terror to help make up for this lackluster patch? 
Oh I was huge into GW for ages, both PvE and PvP. Mostly RA/TA/HA, bit of GvG, ran full size alliance at one point, even back pre factions was doing drok runs, full desert services pre heroes, I lost a lot of interest after nightfall/eotn and heroes, but loved that game when it was at it’s peak.

God I hope they don’t add in that stupid MF buff again. If I want MF I’ll equip MF… good bases are frankly way harder to find than uniques You’ll find like 10 griffs/dwebs before you find one perfect sup eth merc base.
It’s actually a good thing this patch wasn’t big. PoE2 would drown it out. That’s only bad for D2R. Player retention and average counts are what determine future content. Especially as a result of a patch.

Seriously? No new runewords, no nerfing of assassins? There is so much potential for D2R yet its been wasted. D2 > D3 > D4. Look at Project Diablo 2. You guys put no effort into anything. SOOOO disappointed
