Diablo 2 resurrected needs a mailbox beside the stash.
Why? Because once we twist Blizzard’s arm for the auction house and/or the barter town, the game will need a mailbox beside the stash in all acts to allow transactions. Also, we must force Blizzard into making the dueling arena that was canceled in the original Diablo 2. On a side note, the dueling arena would allow hardcore dueling resurrections if chosen by the duelers.
Blizzard did confirm there is NO Microtransactions or Auction House in Diablo 2: Resurrected.
Sorry to dissapoint you, but Microtransaction already exist in Diablo 3 and Auction House got removed because It failed. Why do you think they will have AH in D2:R?
Not really a need for a mail box when you have shared loot now . Place in shared loot pick up with other character . pretty much is a mail box with large storage … right
usually , in most game it create a temporary shared stash (or multiple of them) that you can only withraw from and which get deleted when the next ladder end or when you finished clearing it from items.
And this is exactly what we are talking about, come on now, us so-called “purists” have already compromised with the seperate server for ploot Ect, and now you want a postal service in D2R?
The purists can’t handle our vision for Diablo 2 resurrected.
Diablo 2 is the greatest game of all time, but it needs to be enhanced to the extreme! As an example, Diablo 2 should have the equivalent budget of a military aircraft carrier worth billions of American dollars.
I’m rather agnostic about AH’s although like most I despise the real money version of it.
But, I do have a suggestion: if an AH (or some kind of feature that facilitates trade efficiently) is added, and you hate the concept of the AH, simply don’t use it.
I kinda like the thought of being able to trade a good item in a matter of hours instead of days. If this is “flipping” then so be it. I’m not 100% convinced D2R will retain tons of players after a week or two, since many will scratch their nostalgic itch and move on.
And without the bot-driven economy (if you believe battle.net 2.0’s hype), it will take a while for the market to find its legs.
I guess all I’m trying to say is that the market won’t work quite like it did in D2’s heyday, not even like it has the last few ladders. It might be quite difficult to trade effectively which will drive some of us mad. Features that add efficiency to the process might actually help the market establish itself.
