How can anyone in Australia think that they are lucky right now lol. You’re basically prisoners.
That’s the most sexist thing I’ve ever heard; women have to be ugly to be strong? They didn’t change the voice to match either; it’s absurd. Plus, the Sorc is still attractive.
Ah the free modding arguement covered in fluf whine. Smooth as sandpaper. You understand why they don’t allow modding correct? The really obvious reason Correct? Such a tired arguement.
i agree with you (minus qol and the barb/ama comment, thats personal preference imo and i dont really mind that), its just not ok anymore. i dont complain about a bad release day, thats kind of state of the art in gaming anyways sadly.
constant crashing, server downs + rollbacks, nonfunctional lobby and chat, visual bugs on mercs depending on difficulty you play (auras),… .
in this state its not a prod game, its an alpha.
if it was running smoothly i would not complain, 40 bucks are expensive but to me personally worth the nostalgia. but with the state it is in, ill get a refund.
and i hope many ppl do so to get the message out there.
any company not in the gaming business would be in huge troubles by now, with a performance like that.
You need to pick up that towel again- for your tears rly. look its the diaper patrol, get to the changing table! pity you…
yeah my refund has also been declined. I bought it for PC and Xbox.
That was my last Blizzard/Activision game and i will tell everyone how bad the company is.
This. Besides, press G ingame to check the work that has been done on the game grpahics and realise how blind folks are.
The only reason it should be asken a refund is if I try to play this for days and the servers are offline. Then well, a product that doesn’t works isn’t a product. I want to play.
Did you appeal already? Refunds are auto blocked initially if you’re outside the window but you can appeal as well.
They’re refusing refunds on the basis that we already “consumed” the product. That’s the response I got anyways.
The QOL changes buddy is asking for can’t be compared to the QOL changes in World of Warcraft. They’re two inherently different things. Comparing moving items quickly in stash tabs to LookingForRaid is about the most dishonest argument I’ve seen on these forums yet.
No there’s plenty they changed that aren’t graphics related and are absolutely massive. Removing Ebug, Str bug, and WSG.
Just WSG removal alone turns PVP upside down. Nothing I asked for is remotely close to the scope of that change and yet your here saying they changed nothing and nothing further should be changed.
So basically ur complaining that the game is diablo 2?
Who’s definition of Diablo 2?
No WSG, Ebug, Str bug and several other things they changed certainly would be included in my definition of what the game is.
The people saying “no changes made and none needed” either (a) were and are bad at pvp enough not to know how much that means or (b) didn’t even know it (and those other changes) were made.
A stable game client, updated UX/stash management, working servers without constant rollbacks, and a functioning lobby/join game selection all pale in comparison to the things they already did change.
Like lets take the str bug for example.
So, whats the difference. You have to have a bit less life in exchange for needing strength? Like… okay. Not exactly game breaking?
Depends on the char and gear but absolutely can be huge. Especially with say barbs or pallys running base Str with enigma. Also means no more creative setups to change based on gearing since every change to say a shield will be a respec more which is a pain.
Ebugging can easily be 1k def difference.
No WSG makes sins completely ridiculous in PVP. And also lowers the skill needed by everyone else for fighting.
So how exactly are QoL updates to the game bigger ?
i don’t know how you can drop a player into the world before they can even see. like all youd have to do is freeze monsters and players until player makes first click or is actually able to see.
Not sure if you’ve played Path of Diablo, which is essentially LOD with some core tweaks (new/rebalanced skills for different builds, adjusted item stats to make some items usable, QoL improvements like bigger stash, etc.).
There’s even new end game content like red/yellow/white maps which is quite challenging.
All of these on dozens of community servers around the world that you can select in a global realm so everyone can interact. Servers restart every 3 hours with countdown timer on upper screen so you know when its gonna disconnect.
No 3D front end like D2R unfortunately, but it does have upscaled resolution and ultra wide screen support and runs on Linux (if it matters to you).
It is also moderated, so scammers get banned. Trading website that links to your account so you can select your items in your account through the trade website.
All at no cost as long as you have the original LOD exe.
But the product is “rotten”. No different that you buying a consumable in the supermarket, open it, eat it and puke it out cause it has worms in it…
Of course depending on the regulation in your country, video game “consumables” may not be the same as actual “consumables”
Thanks for the ideia, i didnt think about that. It is a little bit too much so i will wait out, if nothing gets better i will totally do it.
See you in d4
