zax please how economy will be ruined? you know that even in p8 farming you won’t get a coa or stormlash or hr easily. you are not gonna sell your shako and that will be all, i don’t think there will be influx of jmods rare claws etc.

I already explained this. Ruined economy is situation where majority of items do not have value so you can basicly spend tens of hours of farming without finding item with good value.
This doesnt mean most rare items will lost value too because they lose value very slowly.
do you really bother picking up a shako to trade for um? spend time on forums to find a buyer?

You mean shako which cost like Ohm at start of season? If you dont pick up shako anymore, yeah thats ruined economy and time for new season.
first shako you keep it if you get the sec one you share it with your friend after that it will just occupy your stash, if you are lucky and happen to get shako on the 1st day of the ladder sure get yourself a mid rolled cta.
Well, people who dont have experience with trading do this. Smart people actualy sell first shako they find and keep using topaz helm 
If you don’t like people crashing your games threads you can always coordinate making a private game chat.

wow what an efficient game play i ll keep my 1st shako and throw that ugly topaz helm sorry, the only items that i’ll bother trading is 19+ torches or jah runes remaining goes to friends or stash.

Oh I think there would be quite the crowd of players that would enjoy the challenge… Of course it would also have the casual crowd of complainers whining that it’s too hard and that it needs to be made easier to accommodate those who can only play for 2 hours a week.
You’re not articulating well what a “ruined economy” is.
Plus once the economy is saturated with items, the currency for certain trades (such as common uniques, mid runes, etc) shifts to crafting materials like pgems and low runes. So a saturated economy isn’t a ruined one, it’s just shifted.

Bro, I just used Occy as an example. Of course we are not expecting to find the same item twice in a short time span. Having Players 8 means instead of finding just a Occy, you can find Occy and a Shako and a Arach Mesh vs. finding just Occy in Players 1. Will the value of the Occy be different thanks to Players 8? Yes. But now you have more uniques to sell to counterbalance that.
Kid, I’ve been playing since P skulls were used as currency in beginning of D2…before LOD.
Again you dont understand the concept. Some uniques will have less value. But now your High Rune (or whatever currency item is at the time) value will go up. One item’s value goes up, another item’s value goes down. That doesn’t mean economy is wrecked. Just means market is adapting to different circumstances.
It’s already the case that a bunch of uniques are worth very little right now. Items already have so little value to sell majority except the very rare gear. Stuff like CoA and Griffon which are worth a lot are still incredibly rare in players 8 and won’t make a difference.
And even if the price of these rare item does fall a bit, it’s not the end of the world. D2 has always been a Buyer’s market.
That doesn’t mean economy is wrecked. It just means mid-tier uniques and sets should be tossed while HRs and high end uniques should be traded / preserved. That’s the way it’s always been, and it’ll stay that way even after /players 8

As long as P8 is kept off ladder, does it even matter? The non-ladder economy, outside of a handful of extremely rare items, has been busted for a while. It’s basically already sandbox mode where if you’re willing to trade you can kit out any character with endgame gear with probably less than half an hour of farming (not necessarily BiS gear, but good enough to clear Hell solo). Might as well just give in and fully embrace it, rather than holding onto the illusion that there’s some “economy” left to preserve.

No I dont think so. When ladder starts, they can add /players X to non ladder, I dont care.
