D2R unexpected error crash

Keep getting the same crash error after launching the game. The game window launches, stays black for about 5 seconds, then crashes with a crash reporter opening up saying the game crashed due to an unexpected error.

The most common cause is not meeting the system requirements. Have you reviewed those?

I meet the minimum requirements

Can you add a DxDiag here?

Most of the report is missing. You can also post on Pastebin.com and provide the end of the link here.

  • The GTX750Ti actually performs just a bit worse than the GTX660 (min required), so it could be that the GPU itself is worn with age/use and not performing well.

  • XBoxStat.exe could be causing crashes.

I have the requirements, but not work…crash lounching the game:

Please start your own thread with the full report. I’m monitoring for new topics for a little bit.

It is definately an older computer, but I played the beta with zero issues, so idk why it can’t run the actual game

The beta was a slightly different client, always is.

But I also noticed that the i7-940 does not support AVX (a method of cpu instruction), which is something the staff is looking into since it isn’t listed in the requirements.

At first the game window wouldn’t launch at all. The play button would go from “play” to “launching” to “playing now” then back to “Play” then an update came, fixed that issue and now I’m at where I’m at

I think if they address the AVX issue you’ll be ok. The performance won’t be very good due to the card, but it shouldn’t crash as much. Follow that thread I linked above

They have an update about the AVX issue:
