It’s just crazy to me because both betas were so smooth. I had maybe 2-3 crashes total. In that short time they managed to scuff it up. Ah well. Not refunding but not thrilled.
Already got my refund. Maybe I will purchase the game when it is actually a finished product that works.
just got mine today as well. was also replied that this AVX issue is running as intended and will probably not change. so my advice to anyone still on the fence and waiting for a patch to fix the game for non AVX users… is to submit a ticket for refund… or wait until you can update your CPU to something that can run AVX.
lesson learned for me. still think it is very suspect to run an alpha and beta with core specs then change those specs at release with something as critical as AVX processing. so very disappointed. was looking forward to experiencing all the OTHER issues everyone else is currently… lol. time to move on.

I remember the Diablo 2 launch and it didn’t have issues. I was on like oldschool cable internet as well… also… alot more people played days peaked at 100k + players.
Than again… that was a Blizzard product… Diablo 2 Resurrected… all the netcode… is Activision… so I mean… expect plenty of issues.

WOW TBC at launch had 5 min of lag then it worked fine which means if there is a will there is a way
the problem is they are DENYING REFUNDS! Which is totally f****** wronggggggg no one should have to pay for this. Even if they could get online… dispute this charge… Goods not as described!

No Problems here :). Was playing now more than 10 hours in a row. I had 1 issue for 3 minutes: i cant login. thats it.
How can I refund? I just tried it and I got declined, saying I am not eligible for a refund.
I was able to play for like 2hours online yesterday, got kicked out and today my Character was lvl 1 again.
Wanted to continue playing but all I gt is a black loading screen.
You need to contact the card issuer and file a goods not as described dispute. There is plenty of evidence of their botched release. Even if you were able to play, YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY!!! Dispute this, A LOT of the player base is unable to even launch the game. This is not the game they described in their Requirements either. No where does it say that AVX compatible processors are required. The sold this game off a WORKING beta that WAS A DUPE.

How on earth are you green? Who is making a rash, knew-jerk, emotional or mis-informed decision here? You say you waited a week on every game you bought? And continue to state that it included non Blizz games aswell, just to continue to mention exactly only Blizzard games…
Buying games on release usually isnt an issue. This is something you have to accept. Even if Blizzard themselves usually have problems with their releases.
And fyi, i bought this game on release. I couldnt play when it was released. I understood they had some issues, and i gave them hours to either give information on the issue, give info on when they expect to fix it, or fix it in a timely fashion.
They did neither. So i refunded my game. And ill probably pick it up again, when its on sale sometime in the future.
How is that for a rash decision?
And for everyone not getting their refund, open a ticket, explain your situation and issues with the game, and im sure Blizzard will refund your game.
I was able to refund my Xbox Series X copy (no one to play with) yesterday pretty easily.
Ok day 2 and many still can’t play, should we give em until day 3 or 20?
I played for 10 hours yesterday. Some hiccups. But nonetheless game played good. Looks great and feels right.
