The biggest problem with d2jsp is the earned ($ or selling items) purchasing power from previous ladders being usable in the current ladder.
Those who don’t use d2jsp have nothing.

The carryover is definitely a huge advantage.
that’s only the first few days. Prices on Jsp/Itemshops drop pretty fast and itemshops are always at least a little cheaper than jsp. Just compare FG prices with any of the more “popular” shops. 1000fg = 30$ on jsp. Currently you can ladder sc ber runes on pc below 5 dollars, while they are around 400fg.
I’m sorry about you financial situation. Ever though of going to work or getting an education instead of trolling full time on game forums?
I’m pretty sure that my job and my financial situation is a lot better than yours. But on the other hand, if you live in your moms basement for free, you should have lots of money to spend on items in a game.
Personally I’m still stuck in D2L think. I still play ladder in that game.
Because its not against TOS. /thread
D2JSP is against TOS, the problem is that buying stuff of games out of the game is not against the Law. What is debatable is that FG is basically a worse type of sudo cripto currency (worst because its just created when soeone buy it and it has no true economy limitation) and could be against federal laws this type of currency, but no company in the world will spend many thousands of dollar to try to fight a site that does not cost them more than the cost with lawyers and tribunals.
Its against tos buying or selling it, FG is a “crypto” and therefore it is money, you can have Bitcoins and never spend a dime to get them too. But what will Blizzard do? It cant spyware your transactions, and the effort is probably not worthy, again, because of cost benefits.
They could create another way of trading, but they must not have the staff for that and other changes atm.
So, for now, and probably for a long time yet (unless D2R becomes a lot profitable for them) it will stay the same.
Why not they shutdown this site like they did for others? What is stopping them.
Not only do they not shut down the sites, they allow bots to spam ads in chat
Blizz is going to get cry babies no matter what they do. Have their own trading system? Wahhh blizz is greedy. I liked D3’s RMAH but blizz gamers have so many cry babies they ruin everything for the rest of us. D2jsp is never going away, so better buy a lifetime supply of tissues.
I actually liked D3’s RMAH too lol.
I also liked D3 RMAH and IMO it made perfect sense. The only ones who spammed the forums against it were (guess) d2jsp nickbeards with all those soon to be useless fg they kept crying and blizzard biggest mistake is listening to them.
The RMAH had its positives and negatives.
Positives, you could make a bit of money on the side selling things you didn’t need, and of course you could buy things that you need to enhance your character.
Negatives, it was a prime target for gold farming bots to make money. There were several Chinese gold farming rings selling tons of gold, which of course made it pointless for the average player to sell gold.
Also, the drop rates were utter garbage for good legendary items. Even the crappy ones would sell for a few $, while the top level ones could max out at $250. When an item was really good, such as the perfect or nearly perfect Echoing Fury, people would sell them on eBay to get more out of them. What did that echoing hammer go for, somewhere around $13,000? Then once RoS released, it became garbage.
I think I made around $10 mostly selling rares.
Eh i was very active then, barely anyone at d2jsp was complaining, plenty were still trading with FG otherwise you were making your own money with blizz, it was a win for all fronts. The rmah cry babies are nearly the same cry babies that cry about d2jsp, lots of wahh i cant stand some people pay to win. Dude they filled up everyone’s pockets! I made my money back on 4 x copies of d3 and profited a few hundred extra on top of that before they took it down, such a shame. Folks it ain’t any different with RL…
Using auction sites to help with trading is fine, go to the “basics” section of arreat summit (there is a “trading” section there). Maybe you could get some helpful tips with trading there if you struggle?
"Make your own Web Page
Make a web page listing the items you have for trade. Advertise your items on your web page or in Trading Forums.
Use Auction Sites
There are several fan sites that host Diablo II Auctions. You can put an item up for auction or buy items."
They cant shutdown a site that is not doing anything against the law. Tos is not law, its internal rules.
Even if it was, which it is NOT there is literally zero ways they can legally know if you have even EVER visited the web site.
They can actually… It is against TOS.
