As we all know, many players here were advocating for QoL changes. The stackable currency tab is one of the big QoL changes almost everybody wants. But I have an update for that.
I see multiple trading post that ask for 45 pgems for Ist. But that’s not possible in 1 shot without dropping the rest the pgems. Wouldn’t a trading system that involves going to the stash and agreeing to trade from the stash be the solution? So both players go to the stash and will find a “currency trade” button in the currency tab. Both players click the “currency trade” button and can choose the amount they want to trade. The amount can exceed 40 and wouldn’t need to go into a trade screen but to go in a currency trade screen which has stackable trading.
Could this be a possibility that goes along the currency tab. This will make these quantity trades possible without worrying about ether traders getting scammed. If we need a currency tab, we also need a currency trade system too. Who’s with me?

Yup this would be one of the best QOL Options possible

I thought of something. If runes can stack in your inventory then you wouldn’t need to worry about a currency stash trade. Gems stack in inventory on Diablo 3 so why can’t they on Diablo 2 Resurrected? This would be a great addition and good QoL chance for the community. I hope stackable gems and runes happens next season.

Don’t forget that keys, arrows, and bolts all stack in inventory too!
Just allow the key stack code to apply to runes and gems.

I’d still prefer a Currency Tab, However if …

Currency tab is the much inferior solution
Sure stacking and tab are complementary, but stacking is by far superior in every domain
I think that stacking may be a tougher problem to solve. I think one of the modders on the forum said something relating to the item-poofing bug on personal stashes. If you have too many details (like affixes on crafted rings) in your personal inventory then it poofs. I don’t think the shared stash suffers from this, so we could potentially put the currency tab as a shared tab and have it work. You wouldn’t be able to stack them when they come out though, or you’d risk them disappearing. Personal stashes are stored in the character file, and have a tiny limit.
I’d appreciate it if anyone with such knowledge could confirm or correct my understanding.
never had any item poof nor heard other people talk about this in any of the D2 mods i played that offered stacking lol
OK. If they can do it in a mod then it may be possible to get online. The poofing still happens now if you have too many items with lots of affixes, like if you craft a full inventory of high level amulets. Do you know if the mods alter the save file size? My understanding was that items poof because you exceed the save file limit.
currency tab
Just get it done blizz we are all very tired of D2R Tetris!!! half of our chars are mules
WTF is the point of keeping the game in the stoneage
Yes keep the game as is but give ud neede QOL changes that makes us wanna play the game, the lack of QOL is just so frustrating.
PS: Keep the damn gold sellers out of the lobby, ban them for 1 post no warnings, i keep reporting and nothing happen!

well I guess I’m not US then lol
just don’t keep all the crap. probs don’t wanna know what kind of trash you keep. how many tal masks on your mules? (I don’t really want to know)
Maybe a QoL expansion for D2R with way higher storage would be our solution. Not like an expansion with new characters and new acts and quests and all that. Just for QoL and higher file storage. Just be sure to have a hard drive that can store all that memory.
I would pay for a Currency tap NP
And yes there are many QOL changes ppl have been screaming for.
Most of us love the god old gameplay, but the lack of QOL is just so frustrating!
It’s not too many items it’s too much data per item. In this case you’d only be changing a small detail of adding a number to the item to denote quantity. I don’t think it would cause the bug.
The bigger obstacle here is the code to break stacks. Like other diablo games you shift+click and choose quantity. That might be a bit harder to work into the old code. Would require a lot of interface reworking.
Would love to see a stackable currency stash tab similar to PoE, but given Blizzards track record with their “engine” problems and stashes, i doubt anything is gonna happen sadly.
I hope they keep updating D2R, and maybe implementing some proper way to insta ban bots, but its all just dreams

2025 and we are still asking for the simplest things !!
the most basic QOL changes, that would just make teh game better.
Stacking most importently, summons not despawning on logout, banning goldsellers in wispers and lobby
minor Set, class and uniques reballancing, would open up many new ways to play
damit blizzard just make small changes and ppl would surge back
Ahh, thread necromancy twice now, from yet another who doesn’t understand this games payment model or how businesses work.
Yeah right. Some of them may come back, but unless there are guaranteed consistent changes and additions, they won’t stick around. This is a pay one time play “forever” game. There’s no money in it for Blizzard to create endless guaranteed changes to this game just to keep people playing it. Why do you think games like WoW and Eve Online have a subscription model? Would YOU work for free?
If you’re bored, go play another game.
D2R has bigger problems than currency tab or loot filters:
- sh1tsaic
- teleport
- melee
Not gonna get it. Nope.
Too many people hate the current changes, scared any future ones off.
