Generally, if the game crashes with no errors during play or never shows up on launch either may be related to a third-party software conflict or driver crash that takes the game with it as resources the game was using were impacted. First, I recommend disabling all background programs by disabling Windows Startup items following the steps Here then restarting the PC and retesting the game.
