Consider more fun negative effects on sunder charms

Even though lots of people’s problems with sunder charms are not with the negative effects, good negative effects may help the balance and introduce some fun as well.
Instead of the current non-existent -75% elemental resistances and too punishing +25% physical damage, consider something like these (inspired by oculus, delirium and other games.)
(1) If we just want something punishing:
Chance to freeze when hit by cold damage;
Chance to burn when hit by fire damage (burn effect: the character suffers the same amount of the received fire damage over 5 seconds);
Chance to be blinded when hit by lightning damage (blinded effect: light radius -100 and unable to use map);
Chance to contract disease when hit by poison damage (disease effect: now takes damages on max hit points, instead of hit points);
Chance to be petrified when hit by magic damage (petrified effect: doubles the magic damage received, but increase all other resistances to 95%, movement reduced by 75%);
Chance to bleed when hit by physical damage (similar to burn).
Physical and fire damage penalties are intentionally lower than others because they were weaker.
(2) If we want something fun:
Chance to cast level 50 Frozen Scourge when hit by cold damage;
Chance to be scorched when hit by fire damage (scorched effect: char is visibly burned, with stages: flaming, fiery, flamboyant and ash. When char is turned into ash, only resetting the game can bring you back. Ash status is not the same as death.)
Chance to be ionized when hit by lightning damage (ionized effect: 90% of chance to be teleported; 10% of chance to become plasma. You can move and cast level 1 lightning in the state of plasma.)
Chance to be ??? when hit by poison damage (open to suggestions);
Chance to be purified when hit by magic damage (main-hand and off-hand are sealed when “purified”; or char now heals non-undead mobs);
Chance to drop ears when hit by physical damage (since a char only has two ears; when the count reaches 3, the char receives a significant amount of damage. Then the count resets.)
All negative effects can be negated/reset by resetting, shrines, wells or NPCs.
