Classic and Hard Core in Beta?

Please let us know if we can play Hard Core and Classic (instead of LoD)

Unless they implicitly say otherwise, I’m going to assume it will just be the same as Alpha, but multiplayer with more classes. They are not going to want to add more into the equation than necessary. Less variables = better test. Now it would be interesting if they simulated a ladder reset between the tests, but doubtful.

I’m pretty sure you’re correct in no HC and no classic.

Can’t believe they didn’t mention in the FAQ.

I mean… it’s limited to A1 and A2… so it’s not like you’ll get much in the way of content outside of what you’d have in classic anyways…

There was hardcore in the alpha though. As far as I remember, some streamers played HC.

There was no HC in the Tech Alpha, I had the Alpha and it was only SC Act1 and Act2

My bad, I thought Quin69 had played an HC barb on players 8 through act 1 and 2. But apparently then it only was players 8 in SC.

Oh, I definitely can believe it.

To these devs, Classic is another world to them.
