Of course it’s relevant. This game was built with multiplayer in mind, a single player option was also created, but it was not what the game was built around. The game was built around the multiplayer experience.
Mentioned above.
Still waiting for you to finish this thought. Was this some kind of argument in your mind, or did you get busy IRL and accidently click reply?
Are you saying that you should have the option in single player? if that’s what you’re asking for, sure…it makes no difference to me whether you have a charm inventory on single player.
Players sometimes playing the game in multipler is irrelevant. Keep discussion to the topic relevant.
The game was created, balanced, and developed with multiplayer in mind, it is very relevant how a charm inventory would negatively effect multiplayer.
Charms have and should always remain as something that is not necessary to have but can choose to have if you don’t care about having tons of space in inventory for potions or items.
Only way I would be ok with it, is if potions can only go into charm inventory and not regular inventory besides belt. Because I don’t want PKers to have full inventory of skill charms and full inventory of Rejuvs to point be impossible to kill.
100% agree, Charm inv is only QOL.
This is factually inaccurate and simple math disproves it. It is QoL, sure, but it is also a balance change, as you can carry extra prebuff equipment into areas of the game you couldn’t normally do with full charm power.
Are you sure you’ve played D2 before?
It was part of the balance. The limited space also adds to the challenge. IMHO, though it WOULD be nice, it’s changing the decisions the player has to make. I.e. how much inventory space they’re willing to sacrifice for MF/Skillers/etc.
Lol prebuff gear, is that really your argument? explain to be me which prebuff gear? people prebuff in LOD and all they do is swap the item from there stash to inv and back.
So in effect all your doing in this case is removing the annoyance of returning to your stash and taking and removing pre buff gear?
Tell me which areas you cant go in and out and back to the stash to get your prebuff gear?
Have you ever prebuffed in D2 before?
Yes and with a charm inventory, you can do all of this while still having the full power of charms. It would also eliminate cube buffing in PvP, creating even more of a shift in balance.
For PvM, it eliminates the need to go to your stash if you want to have full damage gear or MF gear, swap to CTA, then to 180mf/100mf swap, while still having prebuff BO from a CTA that normally would be much more of a pain to cube-swap.
There are many, many different combinations of items that you could use, especially in BM pub PvP games while never having to adjust charms. It would make public PvP games far worse and BM than they already are.
As you have stated above the prebuffing that you have stated you can do in 1.14, a charm inv only adds QOL so you don’t have to use the stash constantly. So there is no power gain only QOL?
So your argument is PVP now?
The game is a PvP game you can go hostile and kill people. You making it much easier for them, they can now have all sorb gear ready to swap on once they see what they up against. Or full inventory of Rejuvs ready to use. Changes the game a lot. not QoL
Time = power, especially in PvE. If you don’t have to go to your stash, you are able to farm quicker, thus more power. This is not just a QoL change.
Honestly if charm inventory and lack of WSG both make it to the game, I almost want to make an Assassin just for the sole purpose of proving to the casual PvMers just how ridiculous BM PK can get.
Keep filling out these surveys, you guys might just get what you’re asking for.
Just you wait they will enable vote kick and remove going hostile unless they agree… lol
Ugh, we’ll never win, lol.
They make stupid changes to make our char nigh invulnerable, we BMPK them, then they whine to Blizzard to get rid of PK…sounds about right.
Where did gaming go?
I’d even add a new mechanics, if you attack someone while their status is set to friendly - you receive 1000% damage back as Holy Rebuke and lose 1 Runed item permanently. That would fix this game lol
Dont want a charm inventory.
Nah, you’ll be taking baths in epsom salt after you get neither of those features.
